Gerrity's Supermarket

The best quality meats and produce. I never got less than excellent poultry and steaks from the Luzerne location. A large bakery section as soon as you enter the store, their cakes are very delicious and not super sweet. A wide variety of deli meats, cheeses and prepared foods are available in the deli area, as is a pay per pound salad bar. Everything looks and smells great!! Produce is always fresh and crisp, with a big selection of fruit, veggies and vegetarian products. Bulk foods such as candy, nuts, dried fruits, etc are next to the produce aisle. A huge variety of dairy products are in the next aisle. Then there are canned, boxed and jarred items in the next aisles. There are 2 long walls of frozen foods and a large bread and rolls aisle. My favourite thing about this store is the fast, easy self checkout. In, out and I'm on my way. Great job, Mom!!!

All of there in-house made goods are excellent whether it be from the bakery, Sushi counter, or the deli area. The staff are always Pleasant and helpful. And the store just has a great hometown feel. However the grocery selection /variety is lacking compared to local competitors. Lastly, the parking lot is horrifically disorganized making it chaotic.

Gerritys has a great bakery cold cut counter so many selections this is my go to store to shop great prices and sales

The luzerne Gerrity's is by far the best grocery store in n the area outside of wegmans. Much better variety and set up then the one in west Wyoming. I like the variety and selection better than price chopper as well.

Very good selection of groceries. Always good hot ready to eat foods. And large made to order hoagies for a very affordable price.
