Absolutely LOVE IT here! The 2 bedroom townhouses are the perfect size. Not too big but not too small. Just the right size to feel cozy. The staff is beyond amazing especially the office ladies, very helpful and ALWAYS friendly. I just resigned my lease for another year as I haven't had one issue. The complex is extremely kid friendly and we couldn't be happier!!!!
I have lived here for almost 4 years, a 3 bedroom townhouse for less then what you would pay living in a place with neighbors above and below you. It’s not the most lavish but it’s not as bad as the reviews. The maintenance crew is always polite to me and the women in the office are equally as nice. The neighbors are quiet and nice to talk to when you run into them. I don’t plan on leaving unless it’s to move into a house. You can find things to complain about anywhere you live, and there’s less to complain about here.
If you can live anywhere else I highly suggest it. We lived in a 3 bdrm apartment here in 2011 and moved to a 2 bdrm in 2012 right as new management took over. The new management is terrible. They will talk your ear off about how caring and great they are, but they will not hesitate to screw you over. These apartments are old and dirty. The appliances barely work and they will just keep them barely working. The maintenance crew is very nice, which is a good thing, because you will be seeing a lot of them! When we moved to the new apartment they told us the old carpet would be ripped out and purgo floors would be put in. But when we moved in we had a smelly stained carpet and nothing but excuses from the management. When we moved out one year later they took our entire security deposit by citing a dirty carpet and a rip in the lino that had been there our entire stay. It is just one example of how this is not a good place to live. The parking is a joke, and if you want a deadbolt you have to pay for it yourself. You can "credit card" your way into any apartment you want to. If you can live any where else in Manchester I strongly suggest you exercise that option.
At first glance this place looks really nice, as far as what they charge for rent & for a "townhouse" style apartment vs. a typical apartment building. The units from the outside do not look terrible. When my husband and I moved in is when I realized the insides are completely just out dated and thrown together. OLD appliances, they advertise on the website "updated appliances" I couldn't even tell you what year my stove looks like it is from, the thing is a POS, cheap nasty carpets, paint is just thrown on layer after layer. Any updates that these units need you can tell maintenance half asses. Our units carpet when we moved in was so matted down and had a damp odor to it, when I mentioned it to the office I simply got the response "I will forward your request to the office manager" and naturally I never heard another word about it. Sandy in the office is wonderful, she answers any questions you may have. The other employees of this place I can not say the same. It seems as tho the office plays favorites with different tenants, some are "allowed" to leave their cars in-front of their units and not in the parking lot for days on end, but when my husband and I leave our cars out front to even bring grocery's in, we have Joe in the blue truck parked outside honking at us to move it. Harassing behavior by the workers here is an understatement. They put out these bogus flyers stating that "all children should be outside accompanied by a parent or serious action will be taken" the place is a freaking zoo. Kids out everywhere no sign of parents, running up and down the streets. If you are going to threaten something, enforce it. They have no smoking policy, so pray your neighbors don't sit on their front porch all hours of the night blowing smoke up into your bedroom window. I have a few friends that live in the complex as well and their experiences here seem similar to mine. Naturally we are moving out in January to a much nicer complex, where the units are actually UPDATED. I would not recommend any of my family or friends to wellington terrace. To add to my frustration just looked in our bathroom, according to the office our flooring in the bathroom was replaced due to some sort of accident the cleaning company had with chemicals in there. I look over at our tub and the flooring is pealing back, look at it more they literally just stacked this flooring over the old one. Didn't bother to rip up the old one, just stacked it on-top of each other. What a god damn joke this place is. Counting down the days until we move.
This place to be honest is a nice neighborhood but But the maintenance here sucks!!! I would stay as far away from this place as possible! They barley cut the grass they so not weed wack jhacksh** so there is weeds as tall as a toddler next to houses and residents stuff has weeds covering stuff. When is snow out they don’t even scrape the ground clear i had to pull a guy up the hill with my truck. The laundry machines omg the laundry machines..... your better off hand washing your clothes in the damn sink then to find a wash machine that actually works ! They just slap a out of order sign on it and barley fix it 2 months later..... if if you go to them with a problem they will fight you on it. Adel is the wikis witch of the west and Sandy is the only nice person there. My carpets were not cleaned before I moved in because they smelt like wet dog and dog piss. The midget that drives the blue dodge truck thinks he’s a tuff guy and rips his exhaust up and down the hill he is the biggest Dxxx i have ever met. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone!!
Whoever is the receptionist for this property has a lot to learn. I called to inquire about a studio apartment and if they had received my application. The lady who answered was extremely rude, basically telling me that I was on a list and to not call them back, that they would contact me when something was available. Wellington get yourselves a new receptionist who actually understands how to bring people to your property, not drive them away.
ALTHOUGH MANAGEMENT IS FAIR, SOME OF THE PEOPLE LIVING IN THE TOWN HOUSES ARE UNFAIR THEY CAN HAVE GUEST OVER AND BE LOUD BUT WHEN I HAD MY NEPHEWS OVER WE WHERE TOLD TO KEEP IT DOWN. ME SPEAKING IN SPAINSH BOTHERS MY NEIGBOR, I CANNOT HEAR MUSIC, I CANNOT HAVE A CONVERSTION INFRONT MY HOUSE WHERE I PAY RENT BECAUSE IT BOTHERS MY NEIGBOR, I NEED TO BE QUIET BUT OTHERS CAN HAVE BIG BBQ PARTYS AND HAVE PEOPLE LAYING ON MY SIDE OF THE LAWN BUT WHEN MY KID GOES OUT SIDE WITH HIS SCOOTER THEY TELL HIM TO KEEP IT DOWN. WELLINGTON TERRACE IS NOT MADE FOR PEOPLE OF COLOR OR DIFFERENT Ethnicity !! THATS WHAT I BOILS DOWN TO. SOMEONE PAINTBALLED MY CAR AND NO ONE SAW NOTHING AND IT WAS A COINCIDENCE THAT MY NEIGHBOR HAD FINISH TELLING MY NEPHEW TO KEEP IT DOWN AND THE NEXT DAY MY CAR WAS PAINT BALLED. I FEEL LIKE A PRISONER IN MY OWN HOME, WHILE OTHERS ENJOY THE FREEDOM. I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND ANY OF MY FRIENDS OR FAMILY TO WELLINTON TERRANCE.
