Dr. Garcia was very kind and treated my sinus infection with the perfect combination of medications. I began to feel better in 36 hours! So happy I didn't have to miss any work time. This office is pristine! Very clean. The office staff were quick to get us all checked in and managed the "initial opening surge" very well. The nurse who took my vitals and went over my med history was very focused and confident. Great facility!
I love Wellstar Urgent Care, Kennesaw. The new girl Beatrice front desk check in is absolutely extraordinary. I’ve been here more then once so I remember her. She’s helpful, so thoughtful, graceful, smiling and just explains everything she’s just kind and she’s been that way with me and I’ve had to go there with my family members and it’s been the same treatment. She’s new at that office but I love her. I also love Nancy the nurse in the back. She has an amazing demeanor and always pleasant. Always asks if we need anything to drink or anything to make us comfortable. She tells the time frames when she’s doing any kind of tests she’s attentive and explains all things in detail. She’s been my favorite for years! Overall a 10 this place for me and my family. I love you Wellstar and thank you Dr. Hoff you’re always the best!
Well Cherokee is always friendly n courteous. The staff, the front desk receptionist all are professional, prompt. and attentive. Love there attitude. Always nice. Dr Hoff is so professional n caring.he will make your day. Always leaving with a smile. Even if u come in feeling bad. They will not disappoint you!.
The medical system has changed a lot the past few years and especially since Covid. I work ems and have experienced it first hand. I feel like wait times is the number one complaint time people have with any medical office and schedule office visits. So urgent care is expected to have a wait. Bring a book or headphones. Dr. Hoff was great. I can tell he is moving quick but he cares and will listen. Just be prepared when you go in with what you want to share. Keep it concise and to the point. They don’t need to hear about the 2 month back story to your current symptoms every time. Sometimes in might be relevant but most of the time not. Also, know having a primary care can help with sick visits, so you don’t need an urgent care every time you’re sick. Also, know what is going to require an ER visit like chest pain, dizziness, or stroke symptoms. Dr. Hoff, med tech Kendra, and the ladies were the desk were very kind.
Dr Hoff and the entire staff from reception to the nurses were the utmost in kindness and care. You were made to feel important. Dr Hoff is an excellent physician… he listens, examines and accesses your health issue. I wish that he were my full time health provider
Overall great experience at the clinic. The front desk was friendly and welcoming. Dr. Hoff had a positive and caring attitude, he was super nice! Would love to come back again.
Dr Garcia and nurse were amazing. I signed my 10 year old daughter in with 102 fever, cough, chills etc. After waiting an hour and 30 minutes and everyone who came in after me being called back I asked why we were first and weren’t being seen yet and the lady at the front desk short red hair told me it didn’t matter the sequence of sign in it was whose symptoms were the worst. That blew my mind and I have never heard of such in a urgent care. Everyone in there seemed to all be in there with the flu and how they could tell me her symptoms weren’t as severe without even checking her vitals yet just didn’t sit right with me.
This was my first time at this urgent care. We have used Wellstar facilities previously, but we will never return to this urgent care. I have been a healthcare professional for 29 years and am very disappointed in the care. I took my husband here for care. The nurse took his BP through a long sleeve shirt and heavy sweatshirt. He complained about being cold and visibly shivering. She told him his temperature was normal. His pulse and respirations were elevated. Vital Signs are one of the first things medical professionals look at to determine what is going on with a patient. Please critically think about what you are seeing. This is basic nursing care. It can assist with both diagnosis and care delivery. Your patients are coming to you for appropriate care and paying for this service. The physician was clearly busy and, understandably, during this time of the year. Please remember your attitude when verbally attacking your patients when they have questions. Part of your job is education. Sarcasm is also never received well by family members. I did give the 2 stars because of the kindness and efficiency of the front desk staff and the lady from radiology. If you are looking for excellent patient care, this is not it.
My last 3 experiences there were great! The staff was friendly and very caring, especially my direct care team. I went in crying with right hip pain, but came out smiling a little. My nurse, her assistant, and my doctor were GREAT! I Will definitely go back! CLAUDIA is the best! Yanique was great! Dr. Hoff is excellent. Sheila is a wonderful nurse.
I was transferred to Kennestone Er from Wellstar Urgent care center after trying to see a Dr at 3 different facilities & receiving calls from staff not to come for appointments. I received a call from the last facility that morning & was told not to come because they didn’t have equipment to properly access my condition. I went anyway b/c my condition greatly depreciated and I absolutely had to see Dr or die. I went to appointment & was immediately transferred by ambulance to Kennestone. My Blood pressure & temperature was critical yet I sat in waiting room for 5 hours before my vitals were taken again. 2 people face planted to ground in waiting area. Other Patients had to look for staff to get them up. Somebody could’ve died waiting in ER without triage. Wellstar seeks to acquire Medical school & hospital bed in Augusta yet they can’t staff facilities they already have & deliver subpar medical care which cost people their lives
