Very unprofessional and disrespectful. I literally walked out due to the growing anger I had listening to how they treat ppl there. I have insurance thank God but those that don't I understand how y'all feel. It's the professionalism and compassion that's missing. If I could've given no stars I would. I'm thankful my grandma don't have to use this place. I literally never had such dreadful experience no where and I only came cuz it's convenient for me. New patients do not go here. They should've kept ga power there cuz these mfs are terrible
Went here when I was pregnant, for the OBGYN department, they move pretty fast - I never waited too long in the waiting room for an appointment. I can say they never really answer the phones on a Friday and sometimes the operated is a hit or miss - definitly can be better.
My daughter was ill and she is a college student, A woman in finance did not want to answer questions concerning what documments that myself and my daughter needed to produce , so she could have an appointment. I asked her for a list of documents that we could bring and she lied and said she did not have paperwork stating what to show so a patient could receive care. This place is a "circus." This woman in the intake office would not give me her name, she told me to wait for "Mariam ". The second woman Mariam came in her office after she got through talking and laughing with a coworker and she told me several different stories about what documents they needed. I asked her to give me a list and she gave me the list and it said what I should bring , but Mariam said that list was "old " and my daughter could not be seen that day unless she talked to " Florence ". Florence would not answer her phone, so I asked for her email and Mariam said "Florence " is busy and she does not give out her email. My daughter was ill that day and these women turned her away. My daughter is in College and I 'm a single mother, These women at this clinic are hateful, they are not there to help single and low income peaple , and they are low income because that clinic does not pay its employees a great salary. This" supervisor " Florence " is anti american black in my opinon, she refuses to talk to the patients or settle a problem, and the coworkers are mean and rude. I asked "Mariam " to give me " Florence's supervisor phone number and she yelled, "He wont talk to you either "! . Because of the political climate and poor management these peaple are not there to help. I still need " Florence 's email . Rude, disgusting.
I am a struggling single parent who cannot afford health insurance. I called the health department with a health concern and need for a checkup. I got caught in traffic on the day of my appointment and upon calling to let them know, I was told they don't accept you after 15 minutes. I had to reschedule. Two weeks later, I take off work and I show up ahead of time to make sure I'm here on time. I have been waiting over 3 THREE HOURS with not such much as an acknowledgement. I realize the health department is for the less advantaged but it's shameful that we have to be treated that way. I was going to have to pay. I am a tax paying voting citizen finding this appalling. My time is just as valuable as anyone who can afford healthcare...
If I could give them 0 stars I would!!! I am currently pregnant. I’ve been to a few appointments and the relationship with the nurse/document is not good at all... they don’t have a relationship with their patients and the nurses are very rude. I had test taken and didn’t receive/ still haven’t received test results and it’s been about 3 weeks
Appointment at 8:15 still here it is 10:30 and kids saw the doctor 20 minutes ago. Still waiting to get shots and still has to go to the lab. The waiting period is just rediculous. I say it every time o come here, it’s always 3hours in this building . The staff is nice and all , but the business is slow. Two hours about to be three
I use FHC for prenatal care and so far I have met Dr. Robertson and Dr. Huyghue and Medical Assistant Dylan. They are very professional and answer all of my concerns I have. The wait times isn't long at all. My appointments usually last about 30 minutes. I am always able to schedule an appointment within the necessary timeframe.
I have never ever had an appointment which I was seen on time. Why are schedules given if the doctors DO NOT arrive to see patients on schedule appointments !!! SUPER POWER MANAGEMENT in West End, Fulton County!!! My health and time are extremely important! Funny, when I went to Cobb County the service was very efficient!!
Worst service ever. I was denied to be seen for second time due to not having a physical medicaid card, but was able to providde the valid number. Came to start my prenatal care. I was greeted with nothing but rudeness and disrespect by one lady in particular in the OBGYN department at front desk. Ms. Janicer Jones needs to work on being professional when handling with new patients instead of being nasty and spiteful. I've came here in 2018 with no problems and thought I would have same experience this time. I will not be getting service here nor will I feel safe with delivering my baby with them. It got to the point where it almost got physical after getting the supervisor to straighten the situation which didn't get resolved. Now im here 14 weeks PREGNANT with no care at a FACILITY i wanted to be seen at. This isn't the only or the first reported incidednt about JANICER JONES. Nasty lady, beware.
I had a horrible experience visiting the Family Health Center in the West End. I needed to see a physician in the Adult Primary Care Clinic. The air condition wasn't working and technically the clinic should have been closed. Without the air condition working the clinic could not kill germs that live in the air, violated HIPPA, and in my opinion was allowed to do this because it is inside a black community. Some employees were rude and I waited an hour and a half in the waiting area to see a doctor. Once I went to the back I waited another hour in a hot room with no air or fan. The issue that needed to be addressed got worse due to me sitting in the heat I became annoyed and it progressed because I could hear the other patients complaint as they spoke with the physician. Their complaint, medical condition, diagnoses, and treatment. Since I have worked in the health care field I know this is a direct violation of HIPPA. They had the exam room doors open because it was so hot and I could hear everything. On top of that they put two patients in front of me that came after I did. Needless to say I left without seeing a doctor. I asked to speak with the Director but he was not there. Can you imagine the head of the company not being there when there's an issue as important as an air condition not working? However, your employees and patients are melting in your hot clinic and the Director felt it was okay to open a clinic that was not operational. I left a complaint card and no one returned my call. People this only happens in the black communities. I have visited the Family Health Center in Marietta where the patients are very diverse and there is a difference in the way you are treated. I will never go to the one in the West End again!
