I lost my childrens insurance because i was told to bring in 3 pay stubs of the dates they asked for then a month goes by and i get a notice that my whole family has no insurance. My worker didnt notify me or nothing . i found out when it was canceled and too late that they needed another one ... Very unprofessional and uncaring... I suppose if i didnt have a job and i was a drug dealer i could probably get assistance

Cps. Lazy and rude. Forget about asking for help unless your abuse happens right in front of there face.

The people I worked with and for are very nice. But the interviewers didn't explain what the REAL duties are for a Child Protective Services Trainee. Nor do they clearly explain that you don't receive a decent raise for 1 year, then after 3 years you get another meanal raise. The workers are grossly underpaid and extremely overworked. ALL WORKERS and WORKER SUPERVISORS deserve a raise.

They are not very well organized and very contradictive it what they tell you. One person says one thing then another tells you something different then the third tells you the the other two were wrong after you jump thru their hoops then they all deny they told you that and try to make it look like your trying to do something wrong. Please no offence to woman but I feel because I am a man that I am not being treated fairly and im a single father with disabilities who has stepped up to do right by my son. They want to talk down to you like your nothing. Very disappointed in our assistance programs for Wv.
