Westbury Apartments

Living at Westbury Apartments was a wonderful experience. The management and staff are very friendly, and helpful. The building is a beautiful historic property, which has been fairly well maintained. Near the beginning of our lease, the entire facade was repaired and the windows were all replaced. The units are generously sized, and many of them have original finishes and details. For the area, the rent is reasonable. The building is pet friendly and charges a flat fee for utilities. A parking garage across the street provides discounted monthly parking. The area is nice. It is close to Center City, Rittenhouse, and is located in the middle of the theater district. Access to public transit is one block away. Many bars and clubs on 15th Street get very loud at night, and traffic gets very congested at times, but if you plan accordingly, it is not hard to avoid.

I’m about to sign my 4th lease! I love living at The Westbury! It’s safe, peaceful and I’m never leaving! This is my home. The Manager Forrest and Assistant Manager Kal are caring professionals! Very friendly, helpful and awesome! The Maintenance staff, run by Glenn, are all superb! I’m very happy here, it’s a really a great place to live. The security staff is on point and fabulous! The building along with laundry room is clean and well maintained. The location is everything!! I highly recommend The Westbury Apartments. It’s a win, win for me!

Great experience living at the Brownstones managed by the Westbury. They’re very prompt to respond to problems, helped work around my work-from-home schedule when possible when I needed someone to come fix something, and always answered phone/email. My apartment was small but cozy - I’m only moving out because I’d like something bigger. Great location and pet-friendly. Only downside in our building was the washer/dryers take quarters only, so you have to take a little bit of a walk to a bank to get change.

I've been living in one of the brownstones at Westbury Apartments for three years, and I have to say, the building management and staff are amazing. They always send someone right away whenever I have an issue, no matter how small. Plus, they always follow up to make sure everything's taken care of, which I really appreciate. Everyone on the team is super friendly and professional. They genuinely care about the residents, and it shows. It’s such a welcoming place to live, and knowing the management is so reliable makes a huge difference. If you're looking for a well-managed and resident-focused community, I highly recommend Westbury Apartments! Shoutout also to the repair guy who is also super friendly and nice with my cat.

My wife and I have lived in the Westbury since we moved to Philly from Seattle, 2.5 years ago. We love it here! The building itself if beautiful - antique and ornate, yet well-maintained. Our unit has a modern kitchen, a beautiful South-facing view of the city, and plenty of space for a 1-bed. Maintenance requests are addressed promptly, and with a high level of professionalism. But most importantly, the staff here are kind, caring and approachable. Indeed, several of the building staff feel like family and friends to us. While the Westbury doesn't have all of the amenities of "luxury" buildings in the city, it more than makes up for this with a community atmosphere, happy neighbors, and an unbeatable location for city-lovers. All of this for a very fair price for rent. We will likely be sticking around the Westbury until we decide to leave the city altogether.

I moved to The Westbury in April 2021 from Brooklyn. I wanted an apartment centrally located, well appointed and with windows for my plants. I found all three when I signed my lease with The Westbury. I've since renewed twice and am happy to call The Westbury home. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The building is older and full of charm and history. I live in a one-bedroom and have plenty of space for all of my hobbies plants and loves my cat and more plants. If you're looking for a place to call home, I highly recommend The Westbury.

The Westbury is a very special place, living here feels safe and comfortable. The staff issues quickly and are very professional and friendly. Great area, everything within walking distance. The views are great, my little cat is endlessly entertained looking out of the windows. There are some usual noises on weekend nights but nothing out of the ordinary and the windows block most sounds. Overall this is the quietest apartment I I’ve ever had due to what I assumed to be very thick walls. These older buildings are solidly structured gems. Highly recommended.

The Westbury is all I could ask for in an apartment building! The staff is so accommodating, the location is unbeatable, and the space is well-designed and comfortable. I have lived here for a little over a year and I couldn't recommend it enough!

I have loved living here for 3 years. The building is always clean and the staff is friendly. I love that the package storage room ensures no philly porch pirates!

This review is long over due! Keeping this short and sweet, I can talk about how great my experience is for a while! Moved into the Westbury Summer 2019 and lived there for 3 years total. Over this time all the of staff have been super helpful and kind, it was easy to start calling it home quickly. If you treat the staff and management with respect they will adjust to your needs. Any issues faced were dealt with promptly. No complaints with the Westbury! Only reason I left is because of work in a different city. If I find myself back in Philly I will be definitely checking in to see their apartment availability. Special thanks to Forrest and Kal!
