Westside Barbell

The customer service from Westside Barbell is outstanding. I ordered a t-shirt and received an e-mail the next day from Tom Barry at Westside personally thanking me for my order and offering to help in any way. In today's world this is an exception rather than the norm. I recommend going to their website and checking out all of their apparel and books. They have a great variety of items to choose from. I will definitely be ordering from Westside Barbell in the future.

Of course I had read about, heard about, and used Westside Methodology before I had ever contacted them. I had some questions and submitted a request asking if I could speak with Louie. He actually responded, and gave me a time. I called him and he spoke with me for about 20 minutes. He was very kind, personable, but also brutally honest, just like I expected him to be. I've also purchased several items from the online store. The shipping has been fast, and full of notifications on the processing of the order. Tom Barry over there is extremely nice and actually responds personally to questions. I've ordered from other companies in the physical culture world, and while most of the big companies aren't bad or hard to work with, I've not had the level of personal interaction as I've had from Westside Barbell. I will be a lifelong customer.

After checking out Westside's online store for a but I finally decided to try it out and placed a couple of orders a week or so apart. The first order went smooth as possible and it arrived quickly. The second order started out the same but in an exchange for a larger size and the Black Friday rush this got all sorts of mixed up. After communicating with Tom & Dave, in which they were very fast to respond and more than helpful, quickly identified the issue and immediately sent out rushed shipping too my exchange PLUS a free shirt, stickers and beer can holder. They totally didn't have to do that but that's the awesome thing about small businesses - they recognize and appreciate the customer and make sure they actually feel appreciated. So because of this gesture and good will they've shown me - I will forever be a Westside Barbell customer.

My 18 year old son bought a sweat shirt from this company and after wearing it for what seemed like every day for two weeks, I asked him if he was ever going to wash it. He told me he wears it every other day after he by he, I mean his mother washes it. He said he loves how comfortable it is and how well the quality is. So Westside Barbell made Christmas shopping very easy the for him this year. What I thought was above an beyond and is the reason for writing this is, they contacted me personally and thanked me for my business. He also asked if I needed any additional assistance. My order shipped the same day that it was placed. It was delivered just four days later with standard shipping. I received a personal email thanking me for my purchase and giving me direct contact information in case anything went wrong. Exceptional customer service if you ask me!

I had a dilemma with a product I had ordered. I sent an email requesting some leeway. Not only was my email answered almost immediately but the request was honored and exceeded beyond what I could’ve expected. Westside has top notch customer service and offers top notch products.

I ordered a book via fast delivery about 20 days ago. I'm still waiting. When I asked to be refund of the fast delivery option, the customer care guy replied in a very rude manner. Worst customer care ever. And I'm still curious to see how fast the delivery will be.... Don't buy online.

Was driving through Columbus with a friend on a Friday night. Stopped by just to try to peak our heads in, and Tom Barry stopped what he was doing moving stuff with a forklift to greet us. He gave us a tour and took time to talk shop for awhile, then gave us each a copy of all of their books for free. Forever grateful to Tom, Louie & Westside for this.

I ordered a hoodie to represent as best I could. Not a big deal. Tom Barry took the time to email me to thank me, and it was just a hoodie. You don’t see that too often. Looking forward to getting that, and will be ordering the bulldog squat bar, bow bar, and earthquake bar in the new year.
