I've been to What Goes Around twice and have purchased 2 purses and a wallet. I'm very pleased with the quality of the purses and I receive a lot of compliments on the items. The atmosphere of the boutique is cozy and inviting and the staff is very helpful.
Went to pick up a brand new/never worn leather jacket that hadn’t sold yet. When I brought it in, it was in the original packaging - Wilson’s Leather hanger and dust bag. She hands it to me without either, and it has a very noticeable tear in the shoulder. I pointed it out to her and she said “oh I didn’t notice that.” The “best she can do” is offer me $5 store credit. Don’t bring anything expensive here as they will not take any measures to keep it in good condition.
Hadn’t been here to shop for a few years. Thought I’d consign some of my nicer things that I was no longer wearing. Many of these items were new. They have a strange system of “buying” your things. First the girl does not even acknowledge you and she goes through your things looking for anything that could be construed as use and with a fine tooth comb I should add. She then picks what she wants and tells you what she’ll give you, and not item by item, but as a group. So she took 5 new items, and left the rest. And wrote me a check for 19.00. The same thing happeNed to me with a store in Rio Rancho that sells used furniture. They will come to your house and basically take what they want, assuming you’ll let your stuff go for whatever they deem appropriate? This woman told I was I “untrusting” when I wanted a breakdown of prices by item of what she was willing to pay. It is a strange world in which we live. I won’t go back to What Goes Around either to consign, sell, or buy. Customer service is greatly lacking.
I think it’s a wonderful place to shop and they make you feel like you’re family! They have wonderful clothes, purses, shoes and of course my favorite jewelry!! They even have layaway and that helps out when you find a piece you want and can’t afford it all at once! Judy is the best … her live shows are so entertaining and she makes you feel like you’re her best friend! It’s a lot of fun ! The whole staff is really great and friendly and they are always willing to help you with anything! I recommend them to everyone!! They are fantastic!!
I usually shop at both stores and, I have had very positive experiences at both locations. They are always very helpful and kind. There is, a wide variety of jewlery of which I like to purchase.
I love this shop! Staff is always friendly and willing to help. The selection of clothes and jewelry is eclectic and fairly priced since they carry quality brands. They even carry Nambe at times! Great shop. I wouldn’t miss this one if you are thrifting for the day. Better yet, visit this one first!
If wasting your time is what you enjoy doing. Then you'll love this place. Don't go by their word or policies because they sure don't. Open until 6 and buying until 4. Arrived well before these times and the person "left for the day". Why would you only have one person who is authorized to make these purchases? That makes no sense. If that's the case releasing their schedule each week should be the information on the website. Very appalled at the business structure at this store. No wonder it was dead and there seems to be belittle to no interest from Customers. I run a store myself and this would've been one of the first mistakes of this store I'd correct in five minutes. Owner/manager shouldn't be in this business of customer service/sales. They don't care if they waste your time, so I'd advise you to give your business and products to a higher deserving company.
It’s a good place to shop but awful for resale. They basically payed me $2 for every item of clothing I took in including Express, Banana Republic, Gap, etc. I have other things to say about their consignment part of the business but will leave it at that.
I usually have a good experience consigning and shopping at this store, but today I was really disappointed. I walked in behind another woman who was going to consign. She was greeted warmly with a conversation and a smile. I stepped up to the desk, expecting the same, and the associate turned around and continued a conversation with two other shoppers without even acknowledging me. She rang a bell, still not making eye contact, and a young lady from the back came and got me to look at my items. I was disappointed looking around the store. The rack labeled “luxury” was full of dated Talbots and Banana Republic clothing. The one item that did catch my eye was both severely stained in front and listed at $200, on a regular rack. The young woman who looked at my items was super kind and respectful. She completed my transaction. I walked out of the store, noting that 4 or 5 more women had come in and received warm welcomes from staff. No one in the front thanked me or even noted my presence as I left. I would hate for it to be attributed to agism, but I was definitely the youngest guest in the store and it strikes me as odd that the only person who gave me the time of day was around my age. I’ll be back to consign again and I hope that my experience is better next time.
Both East and West, What Goes Around locations are awesome. Friendly, knowledgeable staff, great variety of clothes, purses, shoes, boots, accessories and jewelry at great prices! Whether you're looking to buy or sell, What Goes Around is the place to do it.
