Wheeler's Meat Market

Great meat market and grocery store! Old fashioned glass cold cooler/counter where you can pick out your beef, pork, chicken, smoked sausages, etc. They also have seafood, wild game, seasonings, rubs, and marinades, plus a nice fresh veggie counter. Wheelers is a very clean market and the staff is very helpful and courteous.

I love this market! My family has been going here for 25+ years. Their meat is the best and prices are really good. Great for a family on a budget! They have boxes for $79, 89 up to 200, with several different types of meat, hamburger, steak, pork chops. I absolutely recommend it. I tell everyone I can. They have the best beef jerky too

Purchased almost $500 in beef products and did not receive the package #4 discount of 12% (noticed it when I got home to store the meat). Went back today 4/8/2018 to get a refund on my credit card and was told that the discount does not apply to "Specials" (a non-retail price). They identified which of my purchases were specials, and still no discount was applied to other "retail" purchases. I ask why no discount on the retail items, and was told that the wrappers behind the counter apply the discount to the retail price before they add up the total by weight. However, the retail price on my ticket was the same price they had displayed on the meat counter. When I pointed this out, I was told that the prices change daily and weekly and that I was mistaken about the price I saw posted at the time I purchased the meat. Sorry, but I know what the posted price was, and they simply refused to credit me for any of the 12% discount. Sad, because I was looking for a place to purchase enough beef during the year to keep my freezer stocked, it will not be Wheelers Meat Market.

Great deals and great quality meats. I can pick up some meat, potatoes, and some nice frozen veggies all in one spot. I love it!
