You have to eat here! It’s burger history and each slider was delicious! The special of 3 cheese burgers, fires and a drink for $10 is one sweet deal. The meat is fresh, and nothing is over salted! I was talking to the cook who has been flipping burgers since 1986 which is longer than I have been alive.
Defiantly worth the stop, not sure if they are really bucket list/best burger worthy burgers, but they are 100% worth the $$ and the place itself is historic and does not disappoint. Get the pickles! On the side and if you are starving when you walk in, order fries, they come out quickly and you can snack before the burgers are done.
Gets an extra star because the burgers did actually taste all right. but the restaurant is really gross and dirty and the service was pretty rude. no free refills either. grill was filthy and I could see the cook smoking inside in the main kitchen. if the stuff right in your face has that level of filth, then I can't imagine the state of the stuff we can't see. I will say that this really surprised me bc I've seen this restaurant receive praise on First we Feast and other reviewers on Google. included photos of the grill and the cook with the lit cigarette in his hand indoors
Such a fantastic slice of Americana. The burgers are bigger than I expected, and simple yet delicious. The pickles on the side are a nice touch. The fries are similar in style to McDonald's but better! The only drawback is it's not easy to get to this restaurant without a car, but there's plenty of parking if you do have access to a car. Parking: Plenty of parking both immediately next to the restaurant building and along the wall in the back of the parking lot, both reserved for customers of the restaurant.
One word for the sliders/burgers WOW. Most impressed. Heard how good the burgers were, boy were the right. Everything was great from the food, to the service, to the prices. DEFINITELY will be back for more, a lot more.Food: 5/5
Old school simple and quick. They haven’t changed much and they don’t need too. Friendly staff and service. Food is consistent and quick.
This adorable little shack on a busy intersection, heavily advertising a World's Fair from long ago, and still serving up so many sliders every day at fair prices to all comers. It's an institution. The three-slider special, with cheese, fries, and a drink is about $10 with tax, and is the best bet as you sit at the old-school counter and watch the burger chef work his magic. There are bigger burgers and other food options, but it's White Mana, get the famous sliders. So tasty and juicy, and three is the sweet spot for a lasting food coma.
I went here with my colleague based on google reviews. It is a typical American diner where time has stood still. Ne chic and modern gastronomy expected is out of place here. There are classic cheeseburgers prepared the old way and small talk with the owner at the counter. There is the offer 3 cheeseburgers for everyone, a Seitz and a drink for around $10 because you can't complain. The citizens were fresh and well the talk with her pleasant. It is paid in cash no payment accepted. If you don't have any cash with you, you will be friendly but determined to the LTM in the house. Parking spaces available in the side street. Not a must-have, but you should definitely take it with you when you drive past it.
Old school. BETTER then ANY fast food chain hands down. GREAT PRICES. I would recommend the 3 cheeseburger special AND THE cheesesteak. Jimmy is a character. Love the pace. Highly recommend it.
Everyone was so welcoming and fun. They made watching a simple burger flip enjoyable. Lol I will be going backFood: 5/5
