White Memorial Camp and Retreat Center

The long gravel road does not give a clue to the beautifully maintained camp that is at the end. The food is way above most camp food. The cabins had a variety of set ups for family reunions and the like. Separate bathrooms were available for families. A large group room / dining hall was perfect for group meetings and visiting. Linens were provided as well as kind service

They have wonderful camping programs for kids, adults with developmental disabilities, and other groups. It's a full service facility for your own programs, events or a weekend get-away. It's the most beautiful, peaceful place in Kansas located on Council Grove Reservoir. I can't wait to go back for my Camp White fix....

I grew up going to Camp White every summer! It is a beautiful lake side spot to kayak, go boating, play sports, and relax. It enriched my childhood and I recommend it to any parent or kid looking for fun and lifelong friends.

Each year, my weeks at camp are my favorite weeks of the year, whether that be as a child going to camp, as an adult volunteering to help with camps, weekend retreats, or other chances to get out there. It is extremely beautiful and everyone should prioritize spending some time out there!
