Broader selection than the Whole Foods in Mid-City on Broad Street, but that is maybe because this one on Magazine is bigger. Cool vibe here, even in the parking area, and the surrounding neighborhood is a bustling sight to behold. Front entrance is really striking at night, if you're into that sort of thing.

This is the fourth visit to the Magazine Street "Arabella Station" store my wife or I has made in the past three weeks when produce was absurdly low or out of stock. Until now, this was our favorite and only place to purchase groceries - even with several other stores closer to our home.
Unfortunately, going to this store is a waste of time. We will begin shopping at Robert's, because it is closer and they manage to have the produce we need.
Having spent nearly a decade in the food industry, I appreciate eliminating back stock and controlling inventory, but this is too much. Especially, when every time there is a massive outage, the walls are filled with the same stock: turnips, cabbage, lettuce, and beats. Please try carrying more of the stuff that keeps selling out and less of the surplus items.
Having experienced it several more times has been too much and our loyalty and money will go to a different grocer. The employees are stressed about it too. I have witnessed the same employees having the same conversations about the shortages with customers. This is unfair to your employees and decreases morale by giving customers an excuse to confront them.
Do better by your employees. Do better by your customers. I am sincerely disappointed as a life-long, completely loyal customer.

This is my most favorite location in and around the city! Everything about this place is amazing! This is a MUST for any grocery experience!

small whole foods. parking is terrible. the produce is different than the one in metairie. the produce is not as plentiful. the rotisserie chicken is hit or miss. it is either very juicy and delicious or very dry, depending on how long it has been sitting under the heat lamp for.

Go early, the parking garage gets filled quickly. Go for the hot and the salad bar. Also go for the flowers. They are in competition for produce, crabs, and shrimp (the farmer's market), and for baked goods with the French bakery (and Lidl's) down the street, but they still are the place to go for vitamins, and gluten free food.
