I’ve always loved shopping at Whole Foods especially the hot bar, the food is always good. But after spending $20 on hot food I have no place to sit and have to sit in my car to eat! The benches outside were wet. Next time I’m going to a nice restaurant for that price. Seems like prime took over the old seating area.
It’s a typical Whole Foods. It’s nice. But I cannot bring myself to come back after the most recent trip. The employees think they’re on a federal mission and solving big crimes here. I have watched them firsthand on multiple occasions profile customers and stand inches behind them, without the customers knowledge, at self check out. It’s really uncomfortable. They follow customers around the store and don’t attempt to hide it. I’m not going to be explicit but they 100% profile customers. $25 at the hot food bar and the kids here get kicks out of making people uncomfortable. Just really bad energy in there.
All the hot food has been the same garbage for months, none of it even tastes good. The sushi is really fishy and gross in a not so fresh way overall poor selection in the fridges. Sandwiches are made messy in packaging. Itleast everyone is really nice who works here.
The breakfast bar used to be soooo posh. Gravy and bacon, biscuits, yummy fluffy eggs, and sautéed veggies, Now it’s just rubbery eggs, no gravy or bacon… Some overcooked breaded bites, Brussel sprouts.
Spoke to a team member about molded produce. They were very attentive and willing to provide a refund. On my end I should have looked closer at the product, however, I trusted the store’s decision to have this product displayed in the first place
For the most part really great. Wanted some teriyaki chicken in the hot food section. It was down to the dregs. Asked the worker replenishing the dishes about swapping it out for fresh. Was told not until what was in there was gone. GROSS!
I bought 3 oysters to get home and find 2 of them clearly open. I promptly threw them away as I don’t want food poisoning. Thanks, won’t be shopping here ever again.
I like to think I'm not partial to a grocery store when I travel around the United States, but I always end up at Whole Foods. This time in Portland, we visited this location and were thrilled with the killer salad bar. There were plenty of options, it was stocked constantly we visited more than once, and the food always tasted fresh. This was on the smaller side for a Whole Foods for me, but it didn't lack anything I was looking for. Great staff, clean store, and great discounts if you're a Prime member!
This whole foods seems a little smaller than the one I used to shop at, the isles may feel a little cramped and the store a little crowded. Still find everything I need though. The staff is friendly and helpful as always, and the location is pretty convenient for 28th Ave restaurant goers.
Customer service is great. This place is always sold out of vegan items! Edit: Went back today and LOADS of vegan options, Great job guys!
