*not about product as I have not received yet. Customer service from Bryce was great while deciding on a purchase. He was very friendly and speedy. I'm currently in queve of thousands and I am sure they get tons of calls from those anxiously awaiting to pick up their new purchase. I am in no hurry but WAS curious and gave them a ring. I got Bryce again and he was fast and clearly happy to help and got me the info in no time. I'm saving one star tell I can fully test out the product.
A lot of selection this place had a huge selection of inventory of anything hunting, fishing outdoors your heart could desire friendly ladies at the checkout knowledgeable staff and most of the departments convenient hours but they do close at 6:00 on Sunday you can get a better deal on your ammo at Bi-Mart but they don't have as big of a selection
Great selection. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. I will definitely be back. Great gun selection and they have a decent amount of ammo. I highly recommend this business for your outdoor, camping, and hunting needs.
Really nice employees that answer all your questions and share extra knowledge from personal experiences as well. This store is very clean and well organized. It was a very pleasant experience with lots of quality things to look at. We will be back.
They had the hard to find Byrna MAX projectiles and even set them aside for me so they wouldn't sell out while I was on my way there. Neat and clean store with helpful employees. Best one I've been to yet. Thank you
I had to get mine ! GLOCK ! I did what every good red blooded American should do. I made some fun purchases before this new Gun grabbing law kicks in. The service was GREAT even though they were slammed ! I did have to go down to the Albany store for my "high capacity " mags as the store in Salem was out of them. I also grabbed a new pair of Crocs The store is Always clean and usually their service is fast. We know these aren't usual circumstances these days and everyone is short employees. I'll definitely continue to shop here !
Long wait, kinda slow, but blame oregon lawmakers, not these guys. Very helpful. Background check and low stock on guns make things very difficult.. gotta love Oregon lawmakers and measure 114
This was my first time ordering something from them, and will absolutely be the last. I ordered a jacket from them on December 20th, that the website said was either available for same day pickup at a different not Salem store, or next day the 21st home delivery. I opted for home delivery, since I figured it would at least save me the gas, and placed the order. The next day, I checked the tracking information, that showed a label had been made, but that was it. Since it was supposed to have been delivered that day, I contacted support to figure out what was going on. The support rep couldn't provide me any additional information, insisted UPS had it, and said I would need to contact them UPS for further information. I tried to point out this was at odds with what the tracking information they had provided said, and he abruptly cut off the chat, providing a generic support email address and phone number I would need to contact. So the item didn't arrive on the 21st, and then on the 22nd, I received an email from support indicating it was "on the way" and should now be expected on the 24th. Unfortunately, their delay in shipping it meant it was now stuck in transit while a massive winter storm hit on the 23rd delaying the item indefinitely. While I certainly can appreciate that they aren't responsible for weather issues, if I had been made aware that the item WOULDN'T be there the next day, I would have opted to drive up and pick it up in store. So the item finally showed up today the 28th a full week after the promised delivery date. Luckily the item was correct, as I half anticipated them figuring out another way to mess the order up. So maybe these guys are fine if you're shopping in store, but they couldn't be much worse, when shopping online. It may sound hyperbolic, but I genuinely haven't had an online retailer disappoint at so many different turns. The jacket is nice, and their price was good, otherwise I would return it just on principal.
In recent months I have had better and more pleasant experiences visiting the Salem store than my visits in previous years. Therefore, it is currently my favorite store for my sporting goods purchases. The current staff is friendly, polite, knowledgeable and willing to help. Very professional staff and great service.
Went in to the store today to ask if they have time to put a peep in on my daughters bow. The guy in the green hat said to me when I asked him if he had time. That gun sales have priority over everything in the store and never answered my question. I then went over to look at bow merchandise and my wife waited in line to at least get a yes or no answer. His coworker was nice about it and pleasant to talk to but the bow tech was not and said it again to her. She said all we want is an yes or no answer. So his coworker ask my wife if we don’t mind leaving the bow and he can do it. The bow tech said fine what ever I will do it and was obviously mad. I haven’t had lunch and I am hungry. We would have been fine if he said no I am sorry but I don’t have time but if you want to leave the bow I will get to it as soon as I can and we would have been happy to do it since I buy a lot of stuff from you. We have learned our lesson, the guys in Albany Oregon are amazing and a pleasure to deal with but the guy in Salem Oregon is not so much
