Dr. Wilcox is my ob and she’s fantastic! My pregnancy was for the most part uncomplicated and I delivered at El Camino Hospital Mountain View. Everything went well she was not on call that day but the doctor covering for her was also wonderful. Dr. Wilcox is always very cheerful and compassionate, which gives us plenty of reassurance. Her schedule is also not super crazy and towards the end of my pregnancy, I really appreciated her availability.
Dr. Wilcox became my OB mid-pregnancy when my prior doctor retired unexpectedly. She has been amazing throughout the pregnancy and delivery. Dr. Wilcox is calm, thorough and answers all of my questions. She has a great sense of humor and really put me at ease. She also helped to put some of the choices around cord blood collection, delayed clamping, when to deliver, etc. into perspective. Dr. Wilcox has taken a personal interest in my care and that of my daughter. I had a long induction and hospital stay and Dr. Wilcox came to visit us every day, even when she wasn't on call. I am very privileged to have her as my doctor and will absolutely be trusting her with my care and any future pregnancies, should I be so fortunate.
Dr. Wilcox literally saved my life. I was bleeding for over 2 months and was blown off by my previous OBGYN. Turns out I’d become anemic and was SO close to needing a blood transfusion. Dr. Wilcox was kind enough to see me and did a biopsy scrape test and a couple of more tests. Most importantly, she prescribed me a prescription that made me stop bleeding! Hallelujah!!!
I would not recommend Dr. Nicole Wilcox to anyone. The reason has nothing to do with her competence, which may be on-par, but everything to do with her lack of integrity and professionalism. She was the on-call at El Camino Hospital, Mountain View on Jan 15 2017 when my wife was in labor. When she entered our room, we specifically asked her not to cut the umbilical cord immediately after birth to allow the cord blood to flow to the baby. She did not cut the cord, but she did clamp the cord near the belly button so that the blood does NOT flow into the baby. My wife has O+ blood, and apparently they wanted to save the cord blood for their own use. We would have been OK if they asked permission, but pulling a sleigh of hand even after our specific request is downright fraud. In the heat of the moment during delivery it is our first baby, we did not realize she had clamped the umbilical cord. A few minutes later I saw her calmly milking the cord for all the blood and collecting it, and the quantity was pretty significant. All that blood is very rich in iron and other nutrients, and by all rights that blood belongs to the baby. We as parents consider this nothing short of theft and fraud. I would strongly advise against Dr. Nicole Wilcox for this blatant disregard of our wishes, and for using her superior knowledge of the medical practice to deceive us.
Absolutely wonderful! I would suggest this office to everyone. Dr.Wilcox and everyone on the team is extremely nice and knowledgeable. As a first time mom I had so many questions and they were all taken care of. The simplicity of getting results through an app if that's what you choose is great. You can just tell this office is one that takes pride in ensuring patient satisfaction!
