What a great place! Only when my son became a Boy Scout did we even find out it existed. I've been coming out to Staten Island since my sister moved out there in 1971, when a lot of Staten Island was pretty much undeveloped (we're native Brooklynites) and I still didn't know about it. It's beautiful, and a perfect place for the Scouts.

Did you know that you can just buy Boy Scout badges? Like the kinds of the get on their sashes? I didn't. And the part price for buying one is not cheap. But it's worth it, just to feel like you're gaming such an impenetrable organization as the Boy Scouts of America.  That said, who would predict is that a boy scout Retreat would have such a great gift shop. Also the lake that is here is the perfect size.

Was there to show Netflix show. (Downstairs) Holds Boy Scout history & their is much to see. I could see kids being welcome here.

Thank God for Camp Pouch. I discovered this gem when my boy recently joined Cub Scouts. Amazing Facility for young people. This is really one of Staten Island's Hidden Gems!
