Apparently now you can book the enormous recreation field and no one else is allowed to get in. This park used to be a great spot for astronomy. Not anymore.

This park is my favorite the trails are gorgeous the playgrounds are nice and spacious the kids love it out there and it's so quiet and peaceful and if you have a kayak or canoe just access to drop into the water right there fishing access awesome 4 foot Tower to climb for bird-watching or just to look around the whole park it's really neat

Incredible river experience from the damn to the Gulf of Mexico! Watch out for the manatees and dolphins in the spring and summer.

Nice fishing spot with great boat ramp.. Bring the bug spray though.
