Wok wok was super tasty! The white meat chicken and spare ribs was super fresh and flavorful. The staff was very friendly and funny. The atmosphere was nice. It overall reminds me of home. Would def recommend to stop by if you’re in town!
This place is always busy when I come for dinner. A Tuesday night in June no different. We were a group of nine and the service was prompt. We made a reservation given the large group. Servers were very attentive and the food was great. Best dish we had this evening was the Hainan Chicken ordered a half as the quarter entree is too small if you have a large appetite. Also the Tom Yum Seafood. The best appetizer dishes: fried calamari, roti any and the satay chicken skewers. Solid spot for Malaysian cuisine. Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian options, try the curry! And dishes are customizable... Just ask.
THE best stone bowls ever!! So flavorful and fresh. Great customer service and really reasonable pricing. Super clean and safe with covid dividers that restaurants did away with months ago—even though we’re still living in a pandemic. I highly recommend this restaurant. They have vegan options too. It’s below street level so be prepared to walk down stairs. Also, I read a review about “a weird male manager”—he’s a older gentleman and he’s so sweet. He just walks around making sure everyone is taken care of. We sometimes ride our bikes to the restaurant and he saw us chaining our bikes out front and he gave us a tip to make sure they don’t get stolen.
Food was great for the most part! Loved the red pineapple curry and lemongrass curry! The spring rolls weren't great. The outside booth smelled like urine... that was concerning. I kind of wish we had headed into Little Italy for pasta, but this was decent.
Asian fusion restaurant which serves Malaysian, Thai and Chinese dishes. All 6 dishes we had were decent but not exciting. Also, the Malaysian dishes were not very authentic.
I visited on Saturday and ordered the Indo Mee Goreng, which was fantastic. The waitress promptly seated us and we called her to our table using the buttons they provide on the table. The only things I would change about the experience are offering tofu as a protein option and denoting which items come vegetarian/vegan to begin with. Some items would not have chicken in the title but the description would say chicken.
Great place, exactly what i expected from a southeast Asian fusion place. The asam laksa was the perfect dish for a late lunch on a hot day. Personnel was lovely and service was good. Prices are fair for the amount of food you get. Would love to go again.
This is my favorite restaurant to get Malaysian food at in New York City. It's quite authentic with flavors that satisfy my cravings.
Decent Malaysian place. The garlic chicken and the shrimp noodles were great, though there could be fair amount of msg that caused my mouth to be cry.
First time dining here and had a great experience with a group of other 5 people. Staffs were attentive and amiable. Food was tasty and fairly cheap. Will definitely visit again!
