Front desk staff is exceptionally rude both on the phone and in person. Legitimately made me feel like I was ruining her day. I missed an appointment by mistake and received an aggressive and accusational call from them and her tone made me decide right then and there that I would no longer be returning as a client.

Really disappointed with my experience. I initially made an appointment to be seen for a GI disorder with an ND that specializes in that. Unfortunately they called the night of to switch my appointment to a telehealth appointment because the doctor was ill. The doctor then texted me an hour before the appointment to cancel and told me to call to reschedule.  I called to reschedule and the available times for my preferred provider did not work with my work schedule. After asking staff if there were other providers that could help with IBD, I scheduled with a different provider.  Two weeks later, when I arrived at the appointment, the provider informed me they did not take my insurance - insurance Kwan Yin previously verified. They did not charge me but offered to reschedule. I declined because at this point I had already taken hours off from my job to have both appointments not work out.  I understand doctors are human and get sick. I am disappointed that Kwan Yin does not have appropriate insurance verification procedures connected to the rescheduling that needs to happen when doctors do get sick and am frustrated at the amount of time I spent completing intake forms, scheduling, rescheduling, and commuting in addition to taking time off of work only to not be able to be seen.

I have been a patient of Dr. Ami Kapadia since 2017. She has helped me tremendously with my complex chronic health issues. I had been to 16 different health care practitioners and 2 neurologists; I always walked away with no real answers and no relief from my symptoms. I was about to give up until I found Ami. She is an excellent, intuitive and well-researched clinician who utilizes functional medicine testing and ART autonomic response testing as well as many other tools to uncover root causes of illness. I am so thankful to have found her!

Dr Ami Kapadia has been a solid advisor in supporting and healing my teenage son's chronic illness with its origin in hidden mold exposure in our home. We had no idea. We couldn't see it. We couldn't smell it. No one else had symptoms. And yet it was very much there once we knew where to look. We found her when we were 1 1/2 yrs into trying to figure out the root cause of his illness and nothing was making significant improvements. We had tried everything and seen multiple doctors and naturopaths. We've been seeing her for 8 months and he is now experiencing significant improvement. She is knowledgeable, personable, respectful, intuitive. I'm impressed with both the breadth and depth of her knowledge. And yet, she keeps the testing and treatment very simple. Dealing with sickness from mold exposure and house remediation has been very expensive, but she  navigates this to focus on essentials to maximize benefit and minimize cost. She has been a great health advisor and I am happy that we found her.

I cannot recommend the staff and practices of Kwan Yin enough. I visited Dr Wilkinson for years, receiving the best health care of my entire life. I started seeing her on the East side location soon after it opened, which made it even more convenient to visit. Dr Wilkinson’s deep knowledge of both eastern and western approaches help me trust her holistic approach. She also made time for me — we spoke regularly and in detail about how I was doing, and adjusted her approach based on her knowing what I uniquely needed. I’ve never felt more comfortable with a Dr and more assured she was caring with me entirely, not just prescribing drugs and walking out the door. If your insurance covers visits, go here and you’ll never regret it.

I've been working with Dr. Kapadia for six months to resolve some unknown stomach issues. When I had run out of traditional medicine options with no improvement and expensive costs, Dr. Kapadia was able to work with me to develop a holistic plan to bring my health, energy, and well-being back into a new and better normal. I've been impressed by her thoroughness and concern and management of costs. Once the plan was in place, I have seen significant improvement. I've been amazed with the time, care, and energy Dr. Kapadia invests into her patients. She's an amazing person and doctor. I'm beyond happy with the services here.

After years of seeing many other doctors alternative and traditional who have not been able to help me, I found Dr. Kapadia. After six months of being under her care, I have more energy, I'm confidant I'm eating foods that really support my immune system, and most of the pain I was experiencing is gone. So I'm enjoying life so much more because I'm feeling so much better.  My experiences with Dr. Kapadia inside the office or via email have always been supportive and encouraging. When I've had questions or concerns or was discussing my ailments and struggles, she listened with compassion and provided thoughtful feedback. Her testing diagnostics are far more in depth than most doctors that I've seen. And she provided several different treatment options that included homeopathic medicine, supplements, and essential oils to heal my health issues. I was trying to stay away from antibiotics, but she offered that option as well, if I wanted to go that route.  I would be remiss if I didn't mention Dr. Kapadia's bedside manner. She is very compassionate and took the time to answer all of my questions and concerns. If I had any further questions after appointments she was always available via email and responded very quickly. I should also mention that I'm kind of a high maintenance patient because I'm a highly sensitive person. Seeing doctors is very stressful for me. But Dr. Kapadia was so kind, caring, and considerate, after my first two appointments I actually felt at ease talking to her. That's a new experience for me.  So I can easily recommend Dr. Kapadia very highly because she truly is a wonderful person and an excellent doctor.

Relaxing, clean atmosphere and a convenient location, but disappointed in my lack of a treatment plan. I started going to this practice under the assumption that their practitioners specialized in treating methylation issues. I had multiple appointments with Dr. Hanan over the course of a few months and she was not very helpful in treating my methylation blocks or hormonal imbalance. In fact, she even made the remark that having mthfr polymorphisms was not anything to worry about. I wish I would have gotten established at a different practice that took methylation more seriously.

I have been a patient of Dr. Chloe Scheel for over two years at Kwan Yin's East and West locations. She has served as my primary care physician and it has been a truly wonderful experience working with her. Dr. Scheel has been extremely attentive and has gone above and beyond as a care provider. I have seen her for all kinds of things: general health concerns, Maya abdominal therapy, annual women's exams, and IVs to name a few. Not only is she a wonderful and knowledgeable physician; she's also extremely kind and easy to talk to. I truly couldn't recommend a more amazing doctor.

I had sought solutions for chronic digestive issues for years with so many providers before I found Dr. Kapadia. I appreciate how thorough, knowledgeable and proactive she is, and how she's not intimidated by the complexity of the situation. I feel I found a precious ally on my healing journey, and for the first time in years I am making progress.
