I've had woodforest for as long as I can remember and I've never received anything but the best service possible. Staff is super friendly and always presenting with a warm welcome. I make sure to always visit this location whenever I need to visit the bank.
Very poor. Worked with one individual for 5 minutes. Verified my info. Then put me on the phone with someone else that did not identify themselves and did a very poor job. In now way did I feel this person was capable or that I wanted them handling anything financial for me. Overall, the most disappointed I have ever been with Woodforest, and I have been an account holder for 8-10 years.

Bottomline: They don't know what they are doing here! Take your money somewhere else. You'll be glad you did. What happened to me.... A hotel ripped me off by charging me for a room I did not want, and refused to give me a refund when I asked for one. So I went to the bank to ask for a chargeback. The people that I met at this location appeared to not have very good training on how to handle charge backs. They didn't know how to enter it into their system or anything. They just took a written statement from me, and then told me that in 60 days I'll know the outcome. Well, 60 days pass and I get a letter from them saying that they asked the merchant for a refund, but the merchant refused. No duh! I asked for a refund before I went to them for the chargeback, and all they do is ask the merchant for a refund? Doesn't sound like they have my best financial interests in mind, and as a previous reviewer said, the only thing really good about them is their banking hours. That's about it. I don't know if I'll move all my money to Paypal, or somewhere else, but in contrast, when I have done chargebacks through Paypal, I had a very different experience. At Paypal, they are very professional, apologized for my bad experience, told me they will be giving me a "provisional credit" for the bad charge until the chargeback has up to the 60 days to go through. My advice, avoid them like the plague! I parked $10,000 at their bank, and feel like it was a bad choice.
I have been with this bank for 14 years. The service is always perfect. They give customer service. The staff is always friendly and helpful with any situations. I love banking here.
Very unhappy with this branch office at 1830 Galleria Blvd, Charlotte, NC 28270. I have had 2 accounts with them: one for a non-profit, the other for an unincorporated entity. Employees including the branch manager treated me today in a pro-actively unhelpful, un-empathetic, and plainly unprofessional manner. I needed to add a signer to one of my accounts, for an INCORPORATED non-profit. I came in to the branch on Saturday to schedule the appointment for 2pm and collect all the requirements to be prepared, as I was brining a very busy executive with me. He was to be added as an authorized signer. They told me they would need just our IDs. However, when I came at 1:55pm today, they told me that there was a bunch of other documents I needed to provide see the picture. Even though I was adding the singer for an INCORPORATED non-profit, they provided some policy for an unincorporated entity, and ignored any attempts to reason with them. They did not even reach out to me by email to let me know in advance of the issues, and only used the phone number that was incorrectly entered into their CRM — so they could not reach me. The end result was me having to waste 1.5h traveling, and wasting the time was the executive who was to be added to the account as well. This is not an isolated instance. Just a week ago I needed to deposit a check from a well-known foundation. It took me an hour to work through it. Finally, they put a 7-day hold on a check claiming that "they have confidential information that the money is not going to come through". Note that we had the account with them for almost a year. I strongly encourage you to take your business to a different bank. That's what I'm going to do very soon.
Always have had good experiences only thing I can complain about is no one ever answers the branch phone ir even get a call back. I've called and it'll ring and give the option to leave a message for a call back and they never do.
