I served as a shelter worker at this school during Hurricane Irma and it has an incredibly dedicated, hardworking and caring staff. We are fortunate to have such people willing to care for our children. Kudos to every one of them!

My sister and I are on vacation from Scotland. We were evacuated to Woodlands Elementary on Saturday 9th September, till Monday 11th September, due to Hurricane Irma. I cannot express my gratitude enough to all the staff and volunteers who made our prolonged stay as bearable as it was. Everyone we came in contact with, from David the bandmaster at registration, to cafeteria staff and police were very friendly and polite. The organization was first class, and everything ran very smoothly. Thank you, each and every one of you. John (Iain) Allan. P.s. Thanks to all in room 4214, a great crowd.
