Great beers and an AWESOME Southwest salad adding chicken is a MUST!! They also have good cheese bread sticks. Service in here is also great and the food doesn't take long to prepare. I'd recommend this spot on weekends and throughout the week.
Food is good. I'm gluten free so only a couple items are available but the it was good. My husband really enjoyed his pizza and beer. Played some pool and enjoyed picking songs on the juke box.
Good atmosphere to hang out, have a beer and people watch. Food has gotten a little pricey, but the beer is good. Catching a band here is always fun.
Last night we had Charise as our server. She was the bomb!! Great personality, knowledgeable on food. beer & spirits. I ordered half an order of plain chicken wings! Holy cow they were a full wing and huge! They were awesome. They had a little dry rub on them. Sauce on the side. We were on the 2nd floor. Very quaint and had a pool table. I highly recommend this place. It was my 1st time there. I'll be going back!
Decided to grab some food before seeing a show at loving touch. Doors were at 8, put an order in for a chicken wrap at 8:30. Waited over an hour for a chicken wrap. Ended up missing the entire set of the opener and made it just in time as the headliner started. They were nowhere near busy enough for this kind of wait and the food was just meh. Also saw a cook barehanded pick up salad leaf’s and toppings that fell out of the bowl onto the counter and toss them back in the bowl.... If you're just grabbing a drink then go for it. Anything else is a hard pass.
Love this place, A+ service all the time. Great food and great beer.
This is one of my favorite restaurants in the greater Detroit area. The food is good, the service is good, the decor is really cool. I highly suggest you sit by the window if you go there in august since it is on Woodward and people usually start running their dream cruisers in the summer. You get a great vantage point from the second floor, or if you'd rather you can sit downstairs and they open the garage doors when it gets hot. Definitely a must try.
THANK YOU for a wonderful birthday party for my husband! Even more impressive - we got everything together in just about two weeks. Everything was perfect - Jesse, Aly, Lauren, & all the staff were wonderful. Jesse responded promptly & completely to my initial request using the web form & all my emails - & was super friendly! I am busy & lazy, so the online communication was perfect. We had a diverse group of about 25 guests, including children aged 6-12 - everyone had a great time. We had The WAB do the catering - pizza, salad, chicken tenders, & cauliflower bites - the food was delicious & the price was very reasonable. The WAB staff took drink orders, did all the set-up & clean-up on the food, & provided boxes for the leftovers. We were able to bring our own birthday cake. The room set-up was perfect - it was close without being crowded, we had a variety of seating, a big table for food, & it was just near enough to the restrooms. There was a TV nearby for those who needed a break from conversation. It was away from the bar so that we had our own space, & we had music without it being too loud for conversation. We even had room for a spontaneous conga line! :D I will be back! We'll definitely think about The WAB for other family or work events. For those who may have mobility issues, the space we used is upstairs - about three sets of 7-8 stairs with landings, but I did note an elevator.
Second time we sat for 20 minutes trying to get their menu to work and order something. Second time the wifi wouldn't work and they will not let you just order. We left both times, still hungry and very thirsty. Don't waste your time, they certainly don't respect customers enough to bother with them.
Great beer, great food, great environment. A pleasant departure from the overabundant hipster-ness that surrounds it. Only downfall is that there are only 2 small TVs and a not-so-frequent tap rotation. Would be a fantastic spot to watch Detroit sports if they had a few more screens....
