Workbar - Back Bay

I’ve been a member for about a month now, and love it! It’s a great place to take online classes, and focus if you’re a college student. Highly recommend it if working from home isn’t working for you.

Great place to work! I attended a lot of meetings at Workbar and the Back Bay location is my favorite. Its always clean and smells very nice. The open space is perfect and the meeting rooms are a really nice size. The manager Eric I think that's his name is always friendly and always helps with any technical issues we have. Nothing beats excellent customer service.

When I returned to Boston in September the work bar staff was helpful, accommodating and friendly! The space is very well-maintained, and has everything one needs for office work in a quiet setting. I recommend space highly for anyone working remotely or in small groups.

Excellent space to have meetings, or work on your own. Furniture is comfortable, and the ambience is the right mix of vibrant but not flashy nor distracting. Kitchen facility is great.

When I perused the Internet before becoming a Workbar member, I was pleasantly surprised I could join for under $200/month! Sounds to good to be true, right? And it was. Although it's more expensive than Regus, it's in a nice location and the coffee machines are only 3 years younger than me. When I came to the Back Bay location for a tour, I was told, "Well, it's $200 if you come in for a maximum of 5 days a month." Very misleading. I now pay $500/month to listen to Journey and Nickelback blasted obnoxiously and repeatedly while I take Extra Strength Advil to mitigate my headache. I was given 1-1/2 free weeks in June basically so they could get me signed up as fast as they could. Also, nothing like bashing the competition Regus when I mentioned I used to be a member there...I'll have to verify that closing technique with Zig Ziglar lol. The staff is unfriendly and stuck up and the culture is cold and hostile in a "survival of the 'how can I look like a Millennial while on the twilight of retirement?'" I'm only here till the end of July to get my moneys worth. After that it's game over.

Kind of hard to find, even with GPS on walking. Once I found it, it was great though. Very clean, motivating environment. Equipment was good quality and the people hosting the event I attended was very polite and helpful. I would rent this place if I needed a space like this.
