the bacon quiche, pumpkin muffin, and drinks were delicious! I had the Thai tea and my friend the matcha milkshake. their lil art work out front is so cute!Food: 4/5
Great indie coffee shop! My au lait and pumpkin muffin were both delicious. Service was friendly and timely. The cafe was fairly full when I visited, but my drink came out by the time I settled into my seat. It seems to be a popular neighborhood joint for morning coffee and short meetups. Chill atmosphere - Everyone seemed happy to slow down and enjoy their day. Parking - street parking around the corner, but it's right on the train line. Restroom - Single-stall, All-Gender restroom. Clean and tidy. I'd be happy to visit here again! Thanks for the lovely morning Vegetarian options: Veggie Quiche available, in addition to muffins and cookies Wheelchair accessibility: Flat space - No steps to door, no steps inside. Wide entrance - path to counter is wide, but a tight corner to restroom. Large, single-person restroom - table makes a tight corner, but otherwise easy to access. Ordering - counter ~3' high, register can be pushed forward for access. Seating - half bar-stool height, half moveable tables at normal seat height. Dietary restrictions: "Gluten-free" options. GF Cookie & muffin available when I was there. NOT celiac-safe
I love this place so much. The owner is so friendly and kind, and knows soooo much about coffee and the service industry. One of the best lattes I’ve had in recent years. The quiche I had was pretty tasty too! The vibe is pretty industrial with lots of good light. I only wish they had more food options.
Clean space and great coffee. I get their cold brew or a macchiato with their pumpkin muffin which is amazing. They have a variety of drinks including tea. The staff are friendly and safety is truly their priority. Their interior is also a beautiful space. I highly recommend this coffee bar.
Workhorse Coffee is an awesome, independently owned cafe. The owner is fantastic. The coffee and chai lattes is delicious. They have a variety of baked goods and breakfast foods fresh daily. But most of all, the staff genuinely wants to get to know you, and to point out fun things to try. During the pandemic, they've made safety a priority and I feel safe entering their store. Highly recommend! Update May 2022: This has become a go-to place for me. The atmosphere is chill and the food is always delicious. Features: Staff wears masks, masking is encouraged indoors when not eating or drinking.
When your barista has been doing it for 30 years you get next level quality! Breve Flat White was perfect, along with the other drinks we ordered!
Unexpectedly, the Workhorse Coffee Bar had one of the best muffins I can recall being served anywhere. And the Up coffee is not too shabby either. Will definitely need to return…
Workhorse is a great place for a yummy drink. Very considerate and kind staff. The spinach feta croissant is very yummy, and the maple yogurt granola is off the charts. Great music selection, and it's played at a nice level so if you need to get work done, or have a conversation you can. There's a great place for kids to hang out as well. Oh and be sure to check out the exhibit at The Smallest Museum in St. Paul located just outside the door!
Excellent espresso based coffee and good teas. Good environment to work, free wifi. My latte was delicious, flavorful with hints of chocolate and sweetness, excellent milk steaming & pour. Partner's London fog was good. Edible snacks could be better. Come here to study with good coffee.
Cozy, welcoming, and inclusive. The staff are always friendly and genuinely seem excited to help you. They have delicious coffee and an AMAZING vanilla espresso milkshake.
