I read the reviews before going, more good reviews than bad so I tried them out since it’s right down the street from me. I won’t be going back!!! I got a blow out after wearing my hair kinky curly for years. I would trim in between washings so I thought I was fine and didn’t need a trim. I brought my own shampoo and conditioner and was still charged $39? Ok whatever…. I should hv known something was wrong cuz the lady kept me turned away from mirror. The blow out burned my scalp dearly and she didn’t offer me a trim, In which I didn’t know I needed one since I trim in between my regular washes. In any event she finished and pinned my doobie and sent me on my merry way. Well about an hour later I knew my hair would be so njce so I took the pins out to style it and to my horror it needed a trim so badly that the doobie didn’t fall properly. It fell lifelessly flat with all kinds of fly away hairs all different lengths. I had to actually trim my hair myself and roller set it to get some body and bounce. I Won’t be returning. Also my scalp is badly burned in some places. PS the lady doing my hair tried to comb my hair with a small rattail comb and my hair is thick!!! Oh hell no will I return.Service: Hairstyling

They did a great job on my hair haven't had a perm in a year now. but the treatment that they treated my hair with felt like I had a fresh perm. Thanks ladies happy new years

Fat Spanish lady messed up my hair n I waisted $30 on how I came in the store.

I give this salon a 3 stars but you should consider it as a 4. 4 because it's a corner place. It's a small company fitting to its area. As usual and expected, it can get packed. You can go and loose easy 3 hrs. Last time I went there. They were twice packed. They didn't want to loose any customer. So they washed all of our hair and had us waiting turn to get our hair taken care of. You imagine us all hair wet in a cold season like this. You know, I didn't think of it much until i started to feel a headache and at night i had already came down with an awesome long time never had head cold. And i mean, I waited at least an hour with that water on top of my head. So you can understand, it got all really in. In the weekends, there's that ridiculous church making a scandalous jam there. The outside of it don't offer much. It is not your best view and it is attached to something that looks abandoned. I'm sure if the ladies wanted, they could make it more attractive. A little canopy or awning, more lights and color to bright up the glass in the front. The sidewalk could use a light concrete and bam. Beautiful. There's a deli that offers atm there, speaking of which, it is best you bring cash. They charge 2 ridiculous dollars for card. Isn't that crazy?? You go for a 16 bucks thing and swiping card cost 12.5% of its cost?? And have you even ever heard such thing? 2 bucks which you could add to and/or give as tips? That is all the bad. The great is, you can watch tv, charge your phone, it's not as noisy as others as they tend to speak a lot. It's smokes free. The ladies are very helpful and caring. I believe they do a great job at washing my hair or perm it, color it and style it. But hey... that is all so far I've done there. I can't vouch for everything they offer so far. It is my actual place to do my hair. And i will go this weekend. So 3 for all of that compared to what I think they could have done and offer more. Like coffee and free water even if they had to put a dollar over each hair wash.

When I went a few months ago they treated me unfairly. My hair is a kinky texture and the stylist that did it was completely inexperienced. She knotted my hair up just to come it aggressively with a small rattail come and didn’t show any compassion to my hair at all. I will not be coming back here again.

Friendly,clean environment. With lovely patient and caring workers. Job well done on my hair, went for a perm and got a deep condition and blow out. Because i had damaged hair, anywhere else would just given me a perm and send me on my way.I was told to continue getting treatment and stay away from perm. To me i got a wonderful consultation and a above n beyond treatment at this salon. 5 stars and more
