I needed to find an outfit to wear to a black tie dinner w/ Prince now King Charles. Black tie has very specific and gendered requirements. I consider myself gender non-binary and I wanted to find something extra sharp but also slightly gender bending. Between Xerxes and Susa Boutique, they hooked me up! Roxy and Morgan were so fun to shop with and also so helpful to me in finding a unique look that felt authentic and true to myself. I felt confident and at the top of my game on this occasion that I'll remember for a long time! I mean - gold shoes?!? Whoda thunk? Thank you!

Great shop with many options to find your needs. For me, I was able to find the right suit of Spike Spiegel from Cowboy Bebop. There was much providence to replicate what I wanted.

I live in Chicago but had the privilege of shopping here in person with my best friend from Pomona College Class of 1979 pre-pandemic. Arman treats his customers with care, courtesy and professionalism, and I wish that his store were here in the Chicago area so I could more frequently visit and update my wardrobe with the high quality and fashionable clothing that Xerxes regularly stocks and updates. Most recently, I was able to purchase a birthday gift from Chicago over the phone for my classmate from Pomona and was treated with the same "in store" professionalism and courtesy that I had seen before in Claremont. Arman not only sent photos for me to review possible choices, he hand wrote a birthday card he gave me choices for that as well with the words I texted to him and gift wrapped and hand-delivered the gift in Claremont the very same afternoon I had worked with Arman on my gift selection. Arman defines service and professionalism and Xerxes defines fashionable gentleman's clothing. Thank you, Arman

Arman is knowledgeable about menswear. Arman knows what is appropriate for work, special events, interviews etc. The brand names are not necessarily the big deal here- it's Arman's knowledge and experience. I watched as long time customers came in, they were all there for the advice, not any one specific solution, they all trusted Arman to know what was appropriate. Impressive.

Bottom Line: outstanding customer service and knowledge with no sales pressure. I made an appointment on a Monday at 10:30am for a fitting at 4:30pm that same day. I was open about my intention to purchase the suit in Thailand on a trip, but needed the measurements to send ahead. Even with this knowledge, Arman spent a good hour of his time assisting me with every detail of the fitting to the requirements of the overseas producer at no charge. The store is well maintained and quaint. Arman is quite knowledgeable and has a modern style sensibility. From our conversation, I gathered that they can custom make you a quality suit with plentiful options in material, lining, and custom builds in the range of $150 - $300. I highly recommend this shop for fittings, purchases, and alterations alike.

Arman and the staff are simply incredible and amazing! I can't believe the customer service and level of care every time I walk in. The prices are on the luxurious side, but for once its worth the quality and service! Not sure if I am supposed to say this, but they even brought out a glass of wine and a cheese sampler while we shopped. Either this little store is a dream, or we may have found our own little piece of heaven on earth. 5 Star on the service! 5 Stars on the quality! Thank you.

A tailor for the discerning gentleman. When I moved to the area I tried a few tailors in a thirty mile radius from Rancho Cucamonga, I got mixed results. I am so happy I did not settle for 7/10 results and found the gentlemen at Xerxes. Arman and Benjamin are obsessed with making sure you leave looking great and leave happy. It's a uniquely charming experience and I can't recommend a visit highly enough.

Slow down and take the time to interact with the staff and they will find you what you are looking for.. They have a great sense of style and sell top quality clothing. I cannot recommend them enough. As another reviewer wrote, stop in a couple of times and they will remember your name and your style.
