It was nice, the dancers were nice. The music was ok to me. But my complaint is it's too expensive. If you wanna go out and try to save money. Don't go there if your funds are low. But it was cool just not feeling those prices.

Somehow their marketing never happens to tell the 100% truth. Sometimes they charge a cover when only half the club is open and it's empty. This is why the NYC night scene is what it is. What happened to the gay community?? This is pathetic. Who do they think they are?

This place confused me. After getting patted-down by the door men, and paying a $15 cover, the DJ was pretty basic along with the small crowd. The music leaned hip-hop. There was a large dance floor and small stage. I wouldn't come back here.

Good spot for dancing. Though it makes me feel late 90s nyc clubs.

They need to shut this hoodrat, ghetto ass club down. It's disgraceful what's become of this club after 4 years. And anyway, the "club" has been sold and is likely going to serve yet another trashy demographic:The bottles and models "meat packing district" hetero crowd. XL is no longer relevant to the gay community anyway and technically hasn't been since promoter John Blair walked out on the place but it's sad that we've lost yet another gay space due to gross negligence, horrible business practices, and a lack of respect for actual members of the gay community.
