We signed up for UTOPIA to get a fast fiber optic service to our home. We also needed a good internet provider and a friend suggested XMission because they had been around for so long and were a very stable and dependable platform. We have used their service for over 2 years now and haven't been disappointed. We recommend them!
I love XMission! It is the most reliable internet service I’ve ever had. Every time I need to call customer service or tech support my calls are answered very quickly and every person clearly knows what they are talking about. They have helped me sort out all kinds of issues with my home network from resetting my WiFi extenders to setting up a new network. Everyone is always very nice and patient.
Ive had XMission for around 3 years now, and have been very happy with the level of service they provide. What really stands out is the level of transparency they provide to the customers and privacy they provide for data. In the past 3 years, service outages have been so minimal I hardly have noticed any downtime. The technical staff has been great as well with any changes needed.
Resolved, thank you for calling us about our concerns, within the hour as well. Your customer service team has made some statements that still need reviewing, we appreciate the gesture of good faith. We're certainly not "a big deal" company, but we expect a level of professionalism that we did not initially receive. Communication is the cornerstone of a good relationship, and though management did well here, please be sure these good practices are making it to the rest of the team.
We've just signed up with Fiber Optic through Utopia, and since XMission was our first ISP back in the 90's and had really good customer service, we decided to go with them again. I guess the best way to know if your ISP is a good company is how well it stays active and your experience with customer service, and they've been better just getting back with XMission and having Fiber now it's been good. Definitely recommend XMission for ISP.
Xmission is amazing! Super fast internet! I stream a lot of 4K content and play a lot of online games, and I have no zero interruptions. However, I’ve never had any issues. I always get one gig of download speeds and one gig of upload speeds. It’s fantastic! Get service! I highly recommend it. I have a different provider with utopia, and it was nothing but problems, but when I Switched over to the mission, I had zero issues. It’s been fantastic!
So awesome dealing with an Internet Service Provider with a brain! Public info on their routers and traffic levels, easy to reach online support staff have great technical knowledge. It's like a breath of fresh air after dealing with telcos and cable providers. Get XMission if you can! One complaint is they still don't offer native IPv6.
Years ago in the days of DSL XMission was my ISP and my modem was not working. I called support at XMission and could not resolve on phone so they said I could bring modem to office. They fixed my modem even though the problem was between the modem and the phone company and have provided great service ever since. Technology has changed I now have fiber, but I always choose XMission as ISP.
With them for two years. Once they had 15 minutes of downtime to upgrade their systems. They sent me an email days in advance to warn me that it would be down from midnight to 12:15 AM. I never would have noticed it was down. Reliable, amazing, and continue to invest in making it better. Never had need to reach out to them before since they are so reliable, but I did today, just to ask a few general questions. They were fast to act, respectful, and transparent.
I've been using Xmission for hosting and email for 25 years! They do a great job and the customer service is absolutely the best. It's great to work with a group of professionals that are actually in the US and respond quickly.
