Xfinity Store by Comcast

My experience with Xfinity lately has been anything but pleasant. Agent lying to get credit for mobile service writing a contract that had a penalty that I was not aware of. I am dumping xfinity as soon as possible. They are charging more and providing less, new customers pay 1/3 of what existing customers are paying for 2 years.

I own a home in Salt Lake City Utah Ticket numer 054923536 I have been trying to help Comcast from interrupting service to our neighbors. Our property houses the utility pole you are currently connected to. This pole is coming down due to a retaining wall has fallen. A new pole has been installed and all other utility companies have moved their equipment off the dangerous pole to the new pole except for Comcast. I have called your company every other day for over over 4 weeks. Can you PLEASE assist in getting this line moved to the new pole so we can repair the retaining wall.

I've had 5 outages in a month. When working from home, this is unacceptable. It's a crime. As soon as Google Fiber is available in my area I am going to pay any severance fee on my contract to distance myself from this horrendous company. Shockingly, their customer support is worse than their uptime. Has to be some breach in SLA, no chance it isn't.

During the almost 2 years of service with Xfinity I had so many problems. Sadly I need a high speed service for my work from home and the apartment building where I live doesn't accept a different service. I'm pretty sure they have a deal but whatever is, it works just between Xfinity and the Property management. Their gateway or router for some people? Works good for some time then needs to be replaced. The worse part can be like happened to me, in the middle of my work day. Their software isn't very good. Just as example, I tried to change the name of my WiFi and password to renew it and have me a big headache. Finally I could use it with different name but same password.... At the store I never see the same people working. The hours keep changing. Never update the hours properly. Yesterday they blamed to Google that takes to long to update. Their website is so complicated and dumb, like they have 20 persons working on it but no one connected to another to know what the others are doing..... I called for a CONSULTATION and they changed my plan from $60 to $90 and when I tried to get it back I couldn't, I had to cancel my account, pay over $100 and open a new account for $70. And that is just tip of the iceberg.. I had so much more... I wish I could have access to another service.

Went to the store the other day to pick up a new gateway after speaking with customer service over the phone and them assuring me the equipment would be ready for me. Well, the person at the store wanted to give me the same gateway I already had and after I told him that it wasn’t the one I was promised over the phone, proceeded to explain to me in the most condescending way how I “don’t need” a different gateway and how their newer models were reserved for customers on higher speeds plans. He dispatched me really quickly with that “f*** off” attitude.

People can watch ABC in salt lake City by simply using rabbit ears. They don't need Comcast cable to get that telecast. Comcast needs to stop begging for business.

Repeated random internet drops for hours at a time. Their text “assistant” tells us the internet will be back on at XX time but is consistently off until much much later. I’d take Google Fiber over this any day. We pay more for less bandwidth and horrible service. Don’t buy.

The girl who helped us was rude. It's the first time we've had a bad experience there. Hopefully the next time we will have a better experience.

Can't give it no stars, but I would if I could. Horrible internet. You'd think we live in the middle of nowhere with how much this internet cuts out. 7 or 8 times a day. Go with someone else. They do nothing to help when I call to ask about what is going on.

Picked up equipment included in rental agreement. Staff member was friendly, helpful, quick and efficient - everything we needed during a stressful time. Thank you!
