Absolutely atrocious service. Also, I know I'm picking on this location but the problems I've seen are systemic so they'd be relevant in general, regardless of location. Virtually all the appliance orders I had recently were delayed due to the "truck broke down", not fitting me on the route and telling me only the day of, or not at all, or some other unbelievable excuse. Drivers also either call me three minutes before they arrive and tell me "you have 10 minutes to meet us or we have to reschedule", or not at all. Also there's no easy way to escalate. You have to call and get forwarded around a few times. So there's no way to help them improve which is why they're such a mess. I will say their chat support is pretty quick, though judging by the written communication I've received, not exactly the best. Now I get the pandemic threw a wrench in their business, but there should have been enough time to react by now. They also need to set customer expectations. If you tell me it might take a month fine, at least we're on the same page. I might take my business elsewhere though which may be why they give aggressive dates. Lastly, they're so bad I actively check who fulfills orders when I buy large items and gladly pay 20% more elsewhere if I found out it's XPO doing the delivery, that's how bad they are.
I got notice that I had a shipment on its way. A week before the approximate delivery date, I called to assure that they would call me to schedule a delivery before just delivering it as two people would be available to accept the delivery because it was a very large package. They CONFIRMED TO ME somebody would call me to schedule a delivery. Not only did they NEVER call me, they just called me when the package was already at my apartment, but nobody was available to accept the package. I had to call a friend last minute to go to my apartment and accept this very large package by himself when this was something that required two people to move. Horrible horrible customer service. I called to complain and the lady on the phone just gave me attitude and did not offer any apology. I never ever write bad reviews like this, but they really messed me up today.
Extremely unprofessional and inappropriate. Delivery guy was creepy and hit on me, I had to tell him repeatedly he needed to get out of my apartment immediately. Main customer service branch promised to "send an email" about this behavior without gathering any information from me about the employee. All other customer service numbers are unreachable. Absolutely horrible experience!
Horrible service. The order dates are not accurate. Driver keeps canceling order and saying no one is around to receive it. They will take your money and not even give you a product. horrible company.
SCAM SCAM SCAM be carful using this company Horrible service unprofessional across the board only want your money once they have your money they don’t communicate show up whenever they want after giving you a delivery window they told me btwn 3-7 they arrive at 1pm calls me while at work so I leave to meat them only work 15 min away from home I get home they left and I have not heard from them since SCAM
Avoid XPO in all costs. After several unpleasant deliveries with XPO, now I don't even expect them to be able to deliver at the time they promise. Usually take 1+ months, multiple meaningless rescheduling phone calls, and also arrogant staff.
Simply the worst shipping company in existence. We were supposed to have our bed delivered last Friday, the first day we moved into our new apartment. XPO cancelled the delivery date without warning, and we were without a bed Friday night. Called them and they claimed their truck broke down, and the earliest they could deliver was the following Tuesday. We go buy an air mattress to sleep on temporarily. Tuesday morning comes and we receive a call that the bed wouldn't be delivered that day either, again because of a "broken down truck." Delivery rescheduled for Thursday - almost a full week of sleeping on the floor on an air mattress. Thursday's delivery was canceled without warning. Don't order from any store that uses this shipping company if you can avoid it. They should not be in business. JC Penney and any other company that ships their products using this "service" should be ashamed of themselves.
XPO canceled twice my delivery without notification. Horrible and terrible service ever. It was the nightmare ! I ordered IKEA online almost $ 2,000 dollars worth of furniture on 7/22/18 and delivery was scheduled on 8/4/18, But they got cancel at the last minute after 10 hours waiting, then I was forced to reschedule on 8/11/18. I was also waiting for the entire day, but no show. They said they could not find my product in their warehouse!!! Agent persons are horrible, rude and nasty. They just put me on hold for hours and hours so that they could avoid customer's complain. Stupid IKEA also has no idea what to do and kept blaming XPO and let customer handle the problem. Finally, I went to local IKEA store and canceled my order. I asked IKEA customer service agent to see if they use other delivery company, but she said " Unfortunately, No." The IKEA staff said they received a lot complaint about XPO. This is my first time writing review online. I am normally very passive person, but this is how they are terrible for even me to write a review. I don't usually trust all reviews on google, but XPO has really bad review similar like me, and I should've just requested refund when they canceled delivery first time.
