Excellent horsemanship program for all ages and trail rides offered for any level of riding. Located in the beautiful river valley with scenic trails and fabulous staff, Y Camp is great for kids of any age to attend. If your child loves horses, highly consider the ranch camp program to help refine and build equestrian skills and knowledge!

I love how the Des Moines YMCA was able to get the road closed for their benefit when the problem was their irresponsible staff failing to properly supervise kids. And I mean downright stupid things like coming out of a ditch in a UTV in the dark on state land with no lights on.

Y camp was great. Kyle and the other naturalist did an amazing job even in spite of the rainy weather.

Vary fun good staff but private renting is an extra $150 during the week.
