My sunglasses broke on my vacation and within the hour I was able to drive over and get them fixed here. Very friendly, service was exceptional.

Came here after lenscrafters couldn't repair my store-bought glasses. Mr. Yamamoto was able to fix them and only charged me $10.

Came in to see if they were able to swap my lenses onto a new frame that didnt fit, and I was not disappointed. Walked in, explained my situation, and they got it done in no time. They were very accommodating when presented my issue and was promptly helped. Now I get to wear my favorite frame, and see the clear views of Hawaii! Keith, you're awesome, and If I ever need any glasses work done, I will for sure hit you up! Thanks so much!!

We are so happy we found Yamamoto’s! My eyeglasses broke while on vacation and I got a replacement frame right away. It was a bit hard to find but well worth it. Parking is via Young St. sign of 1150 parking which is the street behind King St.

I came to A Yamamoto Optician with some pretty bent up glasses, it was to the point I thought I was going to need to buy new ones. I came in and in literally less than 5 minutes he fixed my glasses just like new. These were Oakley’s too mind you. What an amazing experience. Please do yourself a favor and come here if you need your glasses fixed.

Mr Yamamoto really helped me! Broken glasses on vacation is a big problem but he took care of it right away. And did not charge me. Very nice staff, good location. Highly recommend.

Beautiful, stylish, both modern and vintage style selection of optical and sun glasses you won’t find anywhere else. Chanel, Gucci, Tom Ford, you name the brand, this store has it. While I went in for a broken frame, I ended up getting my beloved glasses fixed by Mr Yamamoto and found two beautiful new optical frames and bought them too. Courtesy of my business, Mr Yamamoto was generous enough to fix my glasses on the house! I find the shops like LensCrafters to be too mainstream and generic for my taste. This shop has a well curated and reasonably priced selection!

I’d accidentally stepped on my 3 month old sunglasses at the beach & immediately had an “oh crap” moment. The arm had broken off from the temple. They were the only pair I’d brought with me to Hawai’i & I didn’t want to purchase another. Initially I called LensCrafters, explained the issue to them, & was told that my sunglasses were “completely broken” so they could not repair them. Well thank goodness I gave Keith & Randy a call. They had me email them pictures of the damage to confirm they could perform the repair. Keith fixed my sunglasses within 5 minutes and it came out looking brand spanking new! Kind service & quick repairs. Would recommend wholeheartedly. Thanks, Keith & Randy!!!

I came in with a broken pair of frames read: the plastic had broken in half, the frames were absolutely not repairable and I had lost hope & Mr. Yamamoto very kindly replaced the temple entirely. I was very worried as these frames were my only ones and I was not staying in Hawai'i for long enough to order a new pair. Mr. Yamamoto was so kind and courteous and gave me an incredible rate for the service! Will definitely stop by next time & would most definitely recommend him to anyone who needs to have their glasses fixed while in the island.

Awesome service! The hinges of my frame were getting quite loose and Keith fixed them free of charge. Strongly recommend coming here, although the store maybe a bit tricky to find.
