I started working yates January 2024 I love it! I mean has ups and downs like every job . But i.love third shift I get do something different every couple of hours. It more organized than past jobs I personally like it. Plus unlike jobs where u don't know time u get off they always let you know I recommend it
Jus saying for me worse experience I've encountered in a while. Especially from a HR personel. Very very unprofessional. Also hard to believe that a company that has been at the heart of Nissan is still operating there. Also the moto is apparently don't stand up for yourself when being bullied by someone who is slightly over you. Report it nothing happens. So taking matters in your own hands verbally than you're all of a sudden at fault. My opinion they really need to get it together before something really goes wrong there.
HR is horrible. My daughter is currently working there and they are not allowing her to work her full schedule due to her being type 1 diabetic. They have requested paperwork from her dr to fill out which has been sent back from the dr and they have been given paper copies. The ladies in the office need to read the laws! She can preform all job duties but if her sugar happens to get low they should accommodate her, she only needs 10 minutes to get something to drink to get her sugar back up. She isn’t falling behind on her job task! Very tacky and unprofessional! I’m sure they would hate for EEOC to be called or filed.
They called on my phone when I wasn't around, but prompt called back and tried to find out why they called, they keeps hanging up on my after I identified who I am. Yates-Service peoples are rude.
I would give this company no stars. I wouldn't work for this company. My husband called there HR department is horrible she got on the phone with an attitude they couldn't explain why the reason really so she just kept repeating herself. They don't give people a chance which they say they don't. So don't give them the time of day... sad.
I really enjoy working here more than any job I've ever had. Im currently working in building maintenance and I've been treated fairly here since I started back in 2016. The HR department always get their paperwork right and they are extremely helpful with any problem you may have. Overtime a plenty and very fair wages. I am proud to say I work here and i believe it's a stepping stone to a grand career. The health insurance is great the 401k program could use a little work but that being said I've never ever worked anywhere better.
Received a horrible customer service experience. The agent was rude for no reason and was snarky it all of her responses when their was no sassiness or rude behavior from myself. Very unprofessional. I hope you all at least attempt to provide coaching sessions with your agents to prevent this kind of behavior in the future. I should not feel attacked for asking if you all can assist me in my needs. If you cannot, that’s understandable. But there’s no need to act belittling or act as if my inquiries are not valid.
Yates/Nissan is a fantastic place to work if you have goals in mind for your future AND if they align with Nissan's endgame. If all you're looking for is a job, that is exactly what you'll get. This is also a great place to learn about cars and get some manufacturing experience under your belt. If you have a trade, such as welding, you'll do well here. Good place to earn money, but you trade your health for it pretty quick. Management/HR can be friendly and professional, but it depends on who you get. Biggest negative is the insurance, it's terrible. Overall, Yates/Nissan isn't terrible, but they could be much better.
I started stacking totes at Nissan and I worked so hard to better myself and my situation and have done so..... Today I'm a lead..... Waiting for a supervisor position..... I'm 100% about my career..... I'm grateful to Yates for the opportunity to prove myself.... I'm super blessed!!!!
This is a terrible service to work for if you plan on getting paid for your work. They do not have a clock in number. And I've learned why they don't. Cause they can tell you at anytime that you didn't work, when you know you did. I know because it has happened to me. Do know go through Yates if you plan on working for Nissaan. Go through Oni
