Visitng from Detroit, Mi. My local friend took me here. John the owner already kmew him. He was extremly personable already knew my friends usual. Came here for a quick bite before we go exploring today. I had the veggie croissant. I would post a photo but i ate it too quick. For the price you get a generous amount of food. I split mine with another friend and was more than enough. What I enjoy the most about this is the pop up cafe decor. Amazing spread of pop culture and classic artwork. Outfitted with couches and relaxing atmosphere. I would absolutley reccomend this place for a nice breakfast or lunch meal. Thanks John for an amazing experience.
Great place for a made to order craft sandwich. Highly recommend 'The Boss' if you're into pastrami. Breakfast 'scrammies' on a bagel and croissant will literally make your morning. Sandwiches come with an order of Piknik. Fun decor inside, and coffee is great. Oh and they have legit Espresso machines!
One of my favorite places. Great people, great food, great atmosphere. Many comfy places to sit, tons of different hot sauces available, interesting things all over the walls, a fish tank, and the quality of the food is top notch. The owner is awesome, always provides good banter and puts a little extra effort into seeing you're okay. For example, I came with my dog and sat outside, and he ended up bringing a bowl of water out for my dog while we waited for the food. That's nothing major, but just a good dude being a good dude. I like that. Heads up, early hours so great for breakfast and lunch, but closes at 2 so get in before then. In short, GO! You won't regret it.
The coffee and sandwich were quite good but I hope that sometime they open the cafe back up. The gentleman who assisted me was very curt and not the best customer service. I might try again once things open back up. If you want a quick bite and a cup of coffee this is a good place.
Wonderful filling salads, great coffee, delicious chai tea latte. I have had the sandwiches twice here tuna melt and breakfast sandwich, and they were not my favorite, but lots of customers love them. You can buy the coffee beans here, too. Very good. Support this local business. There’s something for everyone!
I finally found a great breakfast place that opens early. The ham and cheese croissant-loved it, Large real cheese. The cappuccino was perfect. I have not had a good cappuccino in years. The clerk was welcoming, courteous and friendly. Great looking place with awesome food. Want Italian coffee? This is place to get it!
Food and coffee was good. Bagel was good quality with right amount of cream cheese. Croissant was nice. Eggs cooked right. I got a cappuccino and it was 4 out of 5.
I'm so glad my boyfriend and I decided to give this place a chance when looking for a quick coffee place. Only 4 blocks down from his house we come for a quick Sunday breakfast almost weekly. Coffee is good, but I come for the $6.50 breakfast sandwich. Thanks for being here :
Friendly owner, pretty good food. I would have given this place 4 stars with a stellar review but they have a fish tank that is beyond FILTHY! TONS of algae on the glass, all over the rocks and plant and some big slimy thing floating at the top of the tank....no idea what it is. One of the fish is WAY TOO BIG for the size of the tank. It's just gross.
Standing in line ready to try this local spot. We live around the corner and we wanted to find a regular spot to eat breakfast at. Standing in line as someone else is ordering there food and the older guy behind the register looked so miserable. We still kept an open mind about it until the gentleman that was ordering changed his choice of meat to sausage his order was not even in process yet. This infuriated the older guy behind the register enough to throw out a “f**k” and was so extremely angry, his face turned red. The customer still kept it cool and was still really polite as the worker was upset. We decided to walk out. We didn’t want to upset the worker any more by putting in our simple order.
