Everything from start to finish was great. Best calamari ever. Bread and dip was delicious. Tried several appetizers and our entrees were delicious too. Rack of lamb and smoked chicken ravioli. We had a birthday dinner at Z Cucina di Spirito. The staff was friendly and attentive. We even got to speak to the chef for a bit. The food was wonderful and priced appropriately. We went very pleased with all of our dishes.Food: 4/5

Prompt service, friendly staff, romantic candlelit atmosphere… seriously, I felt like I was about to have a Lady and the Tramp moment. Calamari was tasty and both pasta entrees were great. Generous pours on the wine. This feels like a nice Italian restaurant where you can really relax and enjoy the atmosphere - not to mention the delicious smells from the kitchen.

I go here for the best bar service and tasty food. Kevin always tells me what is new and what freshest dishes taste. Let me tell you, the tomatoe dip for the bread is to die for! Kevin's cocktails are worth the wait while he makes magic in a cocktail glass.

Such an amazing experience. We made reservations for a Friday night to celebrate my birthday. I have a peanut allergy and I was able to mention that in the reservation and they confirmed that with me when I arrived and were very aware of the allergy all night which was greatly appreciated. We started with the charcuterie board and it was absolutely fantastic, the complimentary bread and oil also paired well with it. I ordered a mushroom pizza and my husband ordered a sausage with pasta dish not sure of the names of either. Both dishes were SO good!!! I believe our waiter’s name was Mark and he was courteous, knowledgeable and very helpful with all of our questions. Then they brought out a mousse as a dessert for my birthday! The atmosphere was excellent and all around it was a terrific experience. I read dozens of reviews for restaurants in Columbus before deciding on this one and I am so glad I did! If you are in Columbus please go to this restaurant! Truly an amazing meal.

All the food was heavily salted. We started with meatballs salty , fruti del mar ok , mushroom pizza good the cocktails was really good. My partner got The Italian Sausage & two Ricotta pappardelle was excessively seasoned with black pepper cannot finish. I got the gnocchi alla loaded potato which I enjoyed, but the rest of my friends did not enjoy their dinner. The atmosphere is romantic and servers are very attentive. Next time I will only come back for the happy hour.

Came in for dinner last night with two other families and both food and service were great. We’ve been in 5-10 times over the years and it’s a reliably good experience. Menu changes seasonally so there’s always something new to try. More vegetarian options would always be appreciated.

Recently went with large group and everyone said it was one of the best meals they have had. I'm vegan and they made me one of the best vegan meals I've ever had. Service was perfection. It's obvious the owner is invested in everyone having a great experience. Highly recommend! Vegetarian options: They happily accomodate vegans and vegetarians.

We came here in a Saturday evening with reservations that were 100% necessary as the restaurant filled up in minutes. Our waitress, Angela was very helpful with the menu and friendly. The bread and sauce were amazing to start. We shared the Risotto Fritters which were great as well. I ordered the Tortelli and my wife got the Goat Cheese Ravioli both of which were amazing in their own, different ways. They also gave us a mousse for our anniversary! So nice, little wait time, and the best food I have had in a long time. Absolutely a new favorite!

I don’t write many reviews but with my prior expertise and experience in customer service I feel this one is important. I booked Z Cucina yesterday for tonight at 6:30pm a Wednesday evening, mind you and cancelled today around 12:30pm since we decided on a different restaurant that was closer to our friends. I cancelled six hours in advance—many people just don’t show up. I mean, that’s the food business. I’m going to guess the owner, Rick, called me and started by oddly stating “you cancelled your reservations,” to which I said “yes, my apologies” and he asked why, I told him, and then he got super sassy and said “We’re just trying to staff our restaurant for tonight. We assume that, ya know, if you make reservations, you’re actually going to keep them.” and then HUNG UP ON ME. As a past restaurant worker and customer review responder, the customer is always right and you can’t take things personally. Had he asked me to give them another chance the following week, I would have, because I think calling me after I cancelled was honestly a smart business move, but the way it was handled was extremely unprofessional. I’ve never been here before but I can assure you I’m now terrified to go to this place. I also read other one-star reviews on here from people who seemed to have a negative phone experience with this same worker. I can’t speak to the food or drink but I prefer to give my business to kind workers/owners.
