For some reason I didn't feel too compelled by the food and the combination of toppings, but it was alright. However I seemed to enjoy much more taking the leftovers home and microwaving it, so maybe the food was a bit cold when I tried at the restaurant
Really interesting pizza flavours. They were delicious actually. Writing this review is making me hungry again.
Amazing service and fantastic food with a beautiful view. Such a lovely place. I recommend the wild mushroom pizza!
This place was so great! My husband and I showed up for a last minute dinner, they were able to seat us outside on a beautiful night, host was super friendly and kind. Our waitress was fantastic and the food was so good. I got the corn pizza which I highly recommend, the crust was that perfect slightly crispy consistency. Drinks were generous and yummy. We will definitely be back! One of the best in Kendall Square.
Medium crust dough, abundant toppings, and good cheese portions. Tried the old school potato pizza and the beef bomb pizza. I personally enjoyed the beef bomb more as its toppings tasted more balanced/ harmonious. The potato pizza was okay but it was a little bland overall - definitely recommend getting some sauce on the side.
The pizzas here are different in a good way! My pizza was full of flavour and the crust was very tasty. They have a good set of options but I strongly recommend the Portobello. We got pick up but when we went to see the restaurant the vibe looked very social and fun!
Popular neighbor pizza place with unusual toppings such as mac and cheese pizza, grilled chicken pizza, and potatoe pizza. The pizza crust is a softer, more pastry like type of crust. Our Caesar salad included a couple of anchovies - something that over typically not experienced with Caesar salads. Enjoy!
This place has the location, the prices, and the atmosphere to be great, but what it lacks and in serious quantity is a superior crust. Ours was too doughy, soft, and likely outsourced. Advice-get a better crust maker. There’s plenty of talent across Boston doing it right, just not at the Za.
Pizza, apps and salad have been good the few times I've been here, but this last time, I came for a happy hour after work and I was chatting with a coworker about which beer to get, saying I might ask to taste one. Bartender overhears and informs me that asking to try a beer is rude and it's annoying for him to have to pour a taste, and that customers like me are part of the reason why the restaurant industry has a shortage of workers right now. I hadn't even asked for a taste. Pretty obnoxious if you ask me.
Friendly service, decent pizza.
