Torn between a 3 and a 4. The service is generally very good and the cocktails are execellent with a good selection of well crafted espresso martinis, classic boulevardiers, and fruit forward options. The food is fine but not particularly noteworthy. Our reservation for 6 was very clearly placed at a table for 4 so we were a little squished and to people got the table crack spot. The table of 6 next to us had a normal 6-person table. It can feel drafty if seated near the door. The plates are nice for sharing.
Wild Boar Rasta Pasta was good but for the price the portion is pretty small. Left me hungry still. Our server was quick and friendly. Gave great recommendations to the table. For atmosphere it was good but our table was an outdoor state park style picnic table next to the curb. While our reservation was for outside it was almost like they just put a random table out there when others were against the building. We attempted to get a seat inside. Even though there were visibly a couple available it wasn't until we finished eating they were going to offer one. Experience wasn't bad just felt it could have been handled a little differently.
The food was great, and the service was good. The only thing was that we did not have one waiter. We had different waiters and it took a lot of work to place orders. When we ordered desserts they kept forgetting what we ordered and how many. Other than that the food was great. I ordered a small appetizer "PANZEROTTI", and a dessert that was on their special menu. Desserts called "Dolce," it was Tiramisu. I was in love with it. I also tried their special "Limoncello Spritzer." It was okay. If you like Limoncello, you will like it. The atmosphere in the restaurant is nice, and the decor is good. It is kind of hard to find parking. They do not have a parking outside of the restaurant.
Everything was good !! But I have to go to try something else. The bistecca is a good plate . So tasty and good cocked . The IPA beer is wonderful and the red wine is good. It was a Montepulciano d’abbruzzo , good but not good as the Mendocinean wines like the Malbecs that are great ! But other than that , a really nice place . And good food, the prices is a bit high but it’s ok for the zone. Cheers !
Sulmona provided a brunch experience that exceeded expectations. The ambience was enchanting, with a perfect balance of rustic charm and modern elegance. The moment I stepped in, I felt a warm and inviting atmosphere. The diverse menu offered a range of brunch options, and each dish was a masterpiece of both presentation and taste. From the delectable avocado toast to the perfectly brewed coffee, Sulmona crafted a brunch that lingered in my memory. The attentive service and cozy setting made it a truly amazing dining experience. Sulmona is a brunch haven worth revisiting.
Great Italian restaurant! Food selections were plentiful. Great beer, wine, coctail choices. Large menu to chose appetizers, salads and main courses. Fabulous desserts!Food: 5/5
Wow! This restaurant is a gem. Let me tell you why .. I chose this restaurant for a birthday celebration with family, having never been before. The food was incredibly delicious. From the homemade pasta to the pizza, everyone loved their meal. I ordered the aqueduct cocktail, which was also top notch. The decor and atmosphere make you feel like you are in for a special experience without being so fancy that you feel you need to dress a certain way or remember which piece of cutlery does what. What truly made this a memorable and extraordinary experience was our server! My only child, who is a very active and busy 7- year- old, accompanied us a group of 5 adults. Immediately, our server considered how to accommodate him. We were seated at a high table and he brought over a different chair saying, "this one is more stable, so it will be OK if you get the wiggles". I was impressed that he thought of this and also made my son feel like it was totally ok to just be the kid he is. It didn't end there! When we placed our order, he let my son walk over with him to press the buttons on the screen and enter our options. He also brought over a small cutting board and a ball of pizza dough. He showed the dough to my son and told him it was from the dough his pizza would be made from. Then he let him keep it at the table and told him he could play with it! This kept him occupied and allowed him to have some sensory play and creative expression while we waited for dinner. If that wasn't impressive enough, when it came time to bring over a special birthday dessert, he asked my son to help bring it to the table. He was so proud and happy to be a part of serving me my birthday treat! We came on a Monday in the early evening, so I'm sure it was less busy and our server could devote more attention to us, but he went above and beyond to give us an exceptional dining experience. He could have just enjoyed the slow pace of not being busy, but instead he ensured that my son was occupied, felt important, and didn't feel like he had to endure a boring dinner with annoyed adults. I cannot say enough about how special this dinner was! Thank you, thank you to our amazing server!
Food was fantastic! Came for brunch and was able to be seated immediately even though it was very busy. Spacious restaurant with a lovely atmosphere; the Italian music that played during our visit was great. Service was also wonderful.Food: 5/5
Nice italian-inspired restaurant. Pizza is not bad, a bit thick maybe. Arrosticini were very good. Good vibe and decor!Food: 3/5
Fantastic brunch with lots of different options and sizable portions. We were able to get a table easily on Saturday afternoon. The Sunday sauce and porchetta are a standout. We'll definitely be back again when around Kendall Square.Food: 5/5
