Delicious food and awesome staff. This Turkish restaurant offers authentic Turkish food and a lot variety. We ordered a platter with 3 kebabs, salad and rice. On the side we had hummus and pita bread. Everything was authentic and fresh. Lamb chops were the best. They provide different sauces also which were also delicious. The lady at the counter was very humble and polite. Must try
This is my favorite neighborhood spot! Casual and laid back at least in my experience, I typically go late in the evening. They’re open later than most places in the area which makes this place a godsend when I neglect dinner plans until 11pm. The staff are very chill and kind, they always make me feel welcome and at home. Also the food is great! Personally a huge fan of their falafel which is so perfectly crispy, and their hummus is some of the best I’ve had.
Love this restaurant! The servers are very nice and friendly. They have really big space and you can choose to sit anywhere. There's also an outside seating that's cozy. It's my husband's first time to try middle eastern food and he loved it! Their chicken shawarma is amazing, just the right zing and tang. The Yemeni kabob is so good! It's not salty and has the right amount of spice. Their coffee was also good. The servings are filling, we weren't able to try any desserts because we're too full.
The Falafel croquettes what they call them on the menu in the Falafel Sandwich are the best I have had in a long time. Very well seasoned and crispy. It seems like a small sandwich but it is very dense. I feel very full. I also really enjoyed the Yemeni Tea, which was Cardamom tea with whole cloves, ground spice maybe cinnamon and a sprig of mint. I liked the presentation. Vegetarian options: There are a lot of Vegetarian/ meatless options as far as I could tell. Especially the Falafel.
First time today! Loved the place, outdoor sitting and 2 rooms available. Food was delicious, and loved the tea at the end! Our server was so friendly and sweet. Very excited to come back!Recommended dishesHummus, Pita, Lamb Chops, Zatar Fries
The food was amazing. The pita bread was steaming when we got it. Not only was the meat nicely seasoned and tender, but the portions were quite big. I enjoyed every bite. Highly recommend!Dine in: YesTakeout: Yes
Had the pleasure of dining here. Superb atmosphere and service. I had the salmon with grilled lamb chops. Wonderful portion sizes. Highly recommend!
Our server was friendly and made excellent recommendations. We had the shakshuka, DIY rice bowl, and hazelnut pastry, and everything was delicious! Will definitely return if we are ever in the area.Food: 5/5
Come for the salmon bowl. Whatever marinade they use for that salmon is insanely good. Everything is made to order too, a difference in which you can taste!Recommended dishesHummus, Salmon Salad, Zatar Fries
I ordered the zaatar fries which were yummy and just what I was craving. I also got their pita with falafel which had lettuce, hummus best I’ve had in a while, spicy sauce added an amazing kick and the falafel were crispy and light. The staff was friendly and they also told me there’s park slope location now when I told them how much I loved their food. This spot is good for a casual hangout, solo eat or for studying/working. I saw they have Yemeni tea/latte on their menu but I didn’t try it but that be for future Garima to try . Overall amazing spot with comfort cheap food in the neighborhood.
