Zen on Seven

We had a great time hosting our intimate wedding and reception here! The entire building is newly renovated with modern, classy, yet a little retro elements throughout. The rooms were a great size for getting ready and staying in! The rooftop space was great for our small amount of people, and didn’t make it feel empty. We worked with Jennifer for the whole process, and she was so helpful and accommodating! From the people at the front desk, and the waiters and bartender, to all the staff that was helping us out on our day was truly amazing. The food was FANTASTIC! I might be partial, of my own wedding, but the best wedding food you could get! So many options to choose from, and everything was amazing. They had so many meat, vegetarian, and vegan options. The price was also amazing. Looking at wedding venues in the downtown and metro milwaukee area, this one is definitely on the low side, but we’ll worth all you pay. It was so great having a beautiful wedding and celebratation here!

Had a few questions for staff and the response time for their chat was hours later. Had called the morning of to see if we had to make reservations for the restaurant, stated we didn't and failed to tell us it was closed for a event going on I'm there. Wish they had said that in the morning. Room was really nice. Just not somewhere I would go again on a budget. A hotel with no pool, paid parking and no free breakfast just shouldn't be that much money. Plus I didn't even think to look at the room amenities for a microwave in the room, I thought that was in all rooms for hotels. It's isn't for here. That was my fault for not reading what was offered. Very clean hotel, large rooms. So if you have money and don't mind the extra amenities not being offered it's a nice hotel.

I stayed at the Metro Hotel a couple weeks ago during a business trip in Milwaukee. The room was very nice. Think Vegas Suite. I booked another room for a return trip in January. I received a check in message from the desk prior to my arrival offering me an upgrade to a suite. Prior to checking in, I received another text message saying I couldn’t get the upgrade because I was staying too long 4 nights. I walked into my room and immediately smelled a strong odor of marijuana and located a bag of it inside the room safe. I asked for a new room and was told my room would be downgraded due to limited availability. I checked out and went to a different hotel.

Do not put your trust / valuable in the care of this hotel. Valet at Hotel Metro got my car a ticket for which the hotel has taken no responsibility. At 3:30 am during my stay, my car received a ticket. I parked my car with valet at 5pm and got my car the next morning. Over a month later, I received a ticket in the mail from the city of Milwaukee that was past due and incurring charges. When I inquired with the hotel, they said they use a third-party service for valet and that I had to call them and resolve it on my own. Eventually, I spoke to the hotel GM who is forward my ticket to the company. I remain hopeful that this will be resolved before i receive the next past due notice. They also offered Marriott points for this issue, but again, they duty of the hotel to keep me and my possession safe is more important than points.

Wow. Room was good. Staff was good. The place look amazing. Out of a magazine. Will definitely stay there again. Pricing wise is ok. You will get more than what you pay for although a bit on the expensive side. No parking available. Only street parking. Their Valet Parking is super expensive over $35 a day. Gym indoors. Was impressed when I turned the tv and I was greeted by the hotel with my name there.

It was a very nice room and staff. The restaurant was a disappointment. Food was limited selection and not what people are looking for. It would be perfect with taco plate and hearty sandwich like club or hearty ham and cheese. A couple of staple items.Rooms: 5/5

We stayed here 2 nights. As Platinum with Marriott we were upgraded to a suite on the 6th floor but due to the roof top bar it was too noisy and so we had to change rooms in the middle of the night…. Other than that it was a very pleasant stay. Nice boutique hotel. Breakfast is served at the Oggie’s restaurant and was delicious . Staff was very friendly and helpful with advise and recommendations especially Mya and Dana. Will be happy to return once again!

We had the best engagement experience in our favorite boutique style hotel. The went beyond to leave a bottle of champagne in our room. This place is amazing. I highly recommend it!Rooms: 5/5

I was extremely pleased with all the staff here at the Metro. I travel a lot and to have someone greet you with a great smile and tons of suggestions to make our stay personable was perfect. I will recommend and I will be back again when we’re in the area. 6 stars

Went for dinner ended up at their top level Tiki bar. Thank Tyler Great Rum & Punch. This hotel has been renovated and now belongs to the Marriott Bonvoy collection. Very nice. See photos below. Front desk attendant very nice and is Spanish bilingual. We didn't stay over night however I'm sure the rooms are stunning.
