She did very good eyebrows threading, but I only asked her to remove one or two chin hair and she literally did my entire chin! I am of the believer that once u start threading, the hair only grows more the next time hence I didn’t touch my chin till now. I didn’t like that she didn’t listen to me and forced me to get my chin done and charged 7 extra bucks for my chin too! Listen to your customers please!

If I could give no stars I would. I went today for a blow out and it was a disaster. The only staff member who was there had no idea of how to hold a blow drier. She hurt me every time she was trying to brush me, didn’t understand the hair stayle that I wanted to achieve and even scrapped my face with her long sharp nails. My hair looked worse after the blow out than how it did before I went in. Furthermore, the price was ridiculous for a service that almost takes my face away. The brushes are NOT CLEAN at all, you could see the hairs of every other customer that have visited the venue. I deeply regret going. I’ve encountered bad hair salons before, but this one tops them all. I dare to say that it is the worse spot in NYC.

When I first started coming here, it was called Sharifa threading. There were usually 3 ladies handling the threading & waxing, someone handing mani/pedis and another renting space to do hair. After about 6yrs, I noticed the nail station was gone and there were fewer ladies doing brows. Sometime later the name changed to ZNK and there was 1 lady doing brows. Most times the wait isn't bad and other times, there's a crowd and the wait is 20mins. It's okay but I miss the old way they operated. Anyway, they have a really popular barber there who a lot of guys go to see for trims & cuts.

I went to get eyelash extensions. The lady was nice and I left happy with what I saw. However I had this pain in my right eye . I only could keep them on for a day because of how painful and uncomfortable they were. Now I have a huge bump on my eye. Not worth it.

Go here for threading services. They are great. Eyebrows come out clean, and even. And the woman who did it is quick and efficient. Do not go here for eye lash extensions. One eye was lopsided and there is a lot of excess glue present. It also is uncomfortable to blink.

I have been getting Brazilian's for now 6 years. I got a Brazilian in this place and the woman who did the waxing was unnecessarily rough. I usually am sore for a couple of hours, but she was so rough that even with two pain killers 30 min prior to the waxing I was extremely sore and couldn't sleep. She was rude when speaking to me and left me filled with baby powder. Terrible customer service and overpriced. I don't recommend at all.

The Threading and beauty salon also houses Edy the Barber. Both deliver as advertised. Edy is experienced and up to date with his cuts. On the salon services end, Falak excels at threading, manicure and pedicures in particular. Convenient location and hours are a major plus.

NEVER get a wax here. She was rude and rough. Left wax burns on my arms and rushed me out of the room. I did get my eyebrows threaded and that service was much better and she did a good job.

Seems to be a hot place for eyebrows but I would not recommend going in for a women’s haircut or style. They aren’t clear about prices until afterwards. They have poor customer service.

I would not recommend this place to get waxed. Just don't do it. There are WAY too many places to go to and it's not worth the pain and disappointment. Worst wax I've ever gotten.
