HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! I am not one to usually write reviews but this is the best Dental office I have ever been to. When I had a traumatic accident, my cousin referred me to this office. Dr. Boris Zusin was able to recreate my broken smile. He does amazing cosmetic work to say the least. His partner at the practice and wife, Dr. Lena Zusin, gives amazing and thorough cleanings. Lena also does an incredible job at scheduling and following up with you for your scheduled appointments; even going as far as to text you personally with reminders. They are both very accommodating with your scheduling needs and are flexible to what is convenient for you. They are also HONEST. They give their professional opinion of what your treatment plan should be and don’t try to sell you on unnecessary procedures. They also offer payment plans and are highly knowledgeable on what is covered through most insurance plans. They are genuinely GOOD PEOPLE! Their office is also impeccably clean, the dental chairs are extremely comfortable, and they even have TVs set up in each room allowing you to watch a show during your appointment. It is just a superb experience from start to finish. You literally leave with a better and brighter smile on your face. My only regret is that I didn’t find this practice sooner! I have recommended several friends and coworkers to this office and I could not be happier that I’ve found them.

I've had regular dental work done as well as Invisalign, all with great results. 2 Patient interaction is excellent. They tell me the plan, discuss with me the work being done, enough so that I'm informed and involved with my dental care and not left wondering what is happening and why it's happening. 3 The level of comfort I experience EVERY TIME is unmatched. I had a FANTASTIC experience at this office! The hygienist, Lena, was very professional, smart, and so helpful! We took X-Rays and she walked me through anything she saw and any questions I had regarding my teeth. She was thorough with all information and even sent me follow up informaiton regarding insurance as well as a referral for a specialist that I had inquired about. I am sometimes afraid of dentists suggesting procedures that aren't necessary, but neither Lena nor Dr. Zusin had this attitude. They were honest and let me know that I had good teeth and no cavities! They pointed out what to look out for in my oral care and how to improve my flossing. 10/10 for the team and this experience! Run don't walk to Lena and Dr. Zusin!

Dr. Zusin was incredible. I needed to be fitted for a replacement retainer and his team was able to provide me with a consultative assessment and price estimate based on my insurance plan before I even visited the office. Once I arrived, I was seen quickly and the fitting itself was both comprehensive yet efficient. Once my retainers arrived, I was notified promptly and was able to retrieve them with ease. I couldn’t recommend Dr. Zusin + team highly enough.

I was referred to Dental Excellence by a close family friend who had been going to Zusin Dental for well over 20 years back in 2019, after a negative experience with a high end dentist located near Grand Central. I had several partially restored implants and several cavities that required immediate dental work, in addition to a front tooth which needed to be extracted and to have an implant and crown placed. Lena and Dr. Zusin were very accommodating to my work schedule and very gentle and compassionate in the standard of care that they rendered to me, while restoring my teeth. The end results far exceeded any expectations that I had and, unlike my prior dentist, their dental rates did not increase based upon the surplus money that I had left in my HSA or in my dental insurance account which is the experience that I encountered with my prior dentist. The pricing was excellent for the quality of work that I received in exchange and I would highly recommend Dental Excellence to all of my family, friends and co-workers who are looking for high quality dental work which is reasonably priced and compassionate and accommodating dental care! Truly the best. Both Dr. Zusin and Lena are professional, friendly, honest knowledgeable and diligent. They really do care about your dental health and overall health in general. Who would think going to the dentist could be an enjoyable and personalized experience? With Dr. Zusin and team, this is the case. They go out of their way to understand your needs. I have been seeing Dr. Zusin for 20 years! The cleanings with Lena are quick and painless. I have very sensitive gums so this has always been an issue for me. They offer gum desensitizing treatment beforehand and have used warm water. Not to mention, I can relax in the massage chair and watch my cooking shows! I have never experienced pain with Dr. Zusin either and his work is always perfect. For a practice in busy Manhattan, their office has a small town feel, very relaxed and personable. Lena is always quick to respond to appointment requests or changes. I highly recommend!

Best dentist in America. I have been a patient of Zusin Dental formerly Dental Excellence and Dr. Zusin for over 15 years. Routinely SUPERB level of care, including Dr. Zusin having made himself available for emergent care when needed. The office is always spotlessly clean, the gadgets and tools are super high-tech and there is no waiting at appointment time. Also - and most importantly - pain free dentistry! Would strongly recommend Zusin Dental to anybody.

My wife and I have been patronizing this family run practice for over 20 years and I can't imagine going anywhere else. They make everything easy - regular appointment reminders, insurance claims, scheduling changes, and urgent care. Their attention to safety and comfort is exceptional and they're clearly committed to long-term patient relationships. I can't recommend them highly enough.
