Low price and pay two months get the third free was what got me to sign in between leases, but you definitely get what you pay for. They changed management after my first month and since then it's been a mess. The gate never shuts anymore so anyone can access the units and there are sketchy vans constantly parked there. They don't have adequate security cameras or security practice in general, so I never felt comfortable going to my unit unless it was mid-day. Their new billing system keeps sending me texts saying overdue charges even though I paid my 3 months upfront and they don't respond to calls to remove me from this list. I got to the point of frustration where I left early and went elsewhere.

I've been renting a unit from here for almost 4 years now and I couldn't recommend it more. Management is friendly and willing to work with renters. The location is secure and feels safe for my belongings. Definitely a great place to store your stuff.

Awesome place. Prices are best in town. Just put your "stuff" in storage, pay your bill.  That easy... rented twice.  If I had to put stuff in storage  I would youse them again. Assuming they had open units...  Top notch...

The pricing at these storage units are very reasonable compared to others. The manager was also very prompt and helpful. Free locks was great! Coolest storage facility in the city.

I absolutely love this storage facility! I no longer live down the street from it but when I was in need of another unit it never even crossed my mind to find one close to where I am now. I’m all for independent businesses that are not part of a big chain. Not once have I gotten any attitude from the management but rather he is actually quite personable and asks about how things are going. Maybe it’s because I use common courtesy and knock before I enter into a place that looks like it could also be a home. This place is for people who want a stable unit long time not just a temporary thing. One time I didn’t have the funds to pay for a couple months but communicated it with Bill the manager and only got understanding in return. Now I’ve paid in advance. Idk if I’ll ever go to another storage place.

I have rented a space with Denver Self Storage and Charlie 3 times over the past 7 years and have never had any problems. I have had excellent stays all 3 times.  The units are secure, clean and the price is the lowest in town.  The central/near I-25 location is perfect and another reason to go here instead of the more fancy/expensive options.  They also run promotions often so be sure and check the website or call to lower your price even more.

I really loved the experience I had with Denver Self Storage. Mr. Thompson was very straight forward and helped me understand about how to rent storage units.This was my first experience renting a unit and it was great. Would definitely recommend this for anyone looking for a place store your stuff. Will surely come back if I need some more space at the house. Thanks again Mr. Thompson!!

Understanding and caring on site manager. He has been very helpful and kind hearted towards his storage renters always willing to work with his customers to help them during any hardships due to the Covid-19 pandiamac. Very well appreciated by many.

I am surprised by the last review, actually. I would highly recommend this self storage. Therefore, I'd like to share my story.  I moved to Denver with a deposit on an apartment sight unseen. When I finally saw the apartment, I knew there was simply no way I could live in it the ceiling was caving in from water damage. I found a wonderful complex that had a waitlist for a 2 bedroom so I needed a place to store my stuff in the meantime. I called up and asked if this self storage had any availability for 10X10 units. The owner, Charlie, answered and thankfully they had a unit! I checked the other prices of the public storage in the area and found the prices were so much cheaper at this place.  When I arrived, Charlie, who lives on the property with his wife, met me and showed me the unit. First of all, I really prefer to store my stuff at places where people live on the property. I just feel like if anything bad happens, they will be there. Charlie insisted on showing me the actual unit before I signed any paper work. I appreciated that he wanted me to see what I was renting. The unit was in excellent condition, very clean and secure. There were no signs of any water damage or decay. The property was also in excellent condition and very secure. They obviously care a lot about his facility,  When it came time to sign the paperwork, I was very surprised that Charlie told me that I got a free lock and $10 starbucks card because that was the special they had listed on the website. I was impressed that he volunteered that information even though I'd never looked at the website and would not have known any better otherwise.  Finally, when move time came, Charlie drove the truck into the facility to my unit becuase I was uncomfortable maneuvering it.  Charlie is definitely a character. He has a long beard like ZZ Top. Perhaps the person that wrote the other review just clashed personalities. I guess that happens sometimes; however, that's no reason to give a place you've never even rented from a 1 star.

Great Prices! They even gave me a Lock in a Sealed Package when I moved in. Bill is very Nice and Professional. I highly recommend this Storage Unit Company. Best in Denver that I have found.
