A Delight of France Bakery and Bistro

I was visiting family in the area and they took me here. I loved it ! as a matter of fact we went back the next day 4 tea ! Staff is hardworking and and they treat you like royalty ! There is also seating outside. It's not a big place but that's what I like about it I'll be back in the area over the holidays so I'll be paying another visit ! By the way, the tea I got was fressia

Stopped by for brunch on Saturday and was one of the best meals of my San Diego vacation. Ordered a made my way frittata that came with rosemary potatoes and fruit cup as well as an iced lavender latte. I would go back and tell all my friends if I lived in the area but will visit again on my next trip, so wonderful!

Cute Escondido mainstay cafe with a variety of menu options and breakfast/lunch food. Definitely different menu than your normal cafe, but good options all the same. Food was good not great, staff was nice.Food: 3/5

First of all, customer service is impeccable! The atmosphere is very calming with nice music in the background. There's inside and outside seating with street parking. I had the passion fruit tea with honey. Love love love! Going back today to get another cup. I had a fresh warm croissant with butter. If you haven't been you gotta try it out. You will not be disappointed! I would have taken a picture of the croissant but I ate it so fast! Next time

Americano & croissants are amazing. I had to come back again & will make it one of my go to SD spots. The food & customer service are top tier. Don’t hesitate to stop by just trust me.

2023 Update: Had crepes, French onion soup with a turkey club, a fruit Danish, and a ham and cheese quiche. The quiche was the favorite. 2019: Occassionally I give a place a 5 simply because I like the atmosphere, service, and enjoyed the food. I enjoyed coming here on a whim when driving through town.

Overpriced, terrible service, and it’s HOT in the restaurant. Myself and my husband got the breakfast plate with eggs, bacon, potatoes, and French toast. With two lattes it came out to $50. I don’t mind paying prices like that for good food, but this wasn’t good. Quality was awful. Eggs were cold. Potatoes were frozen and fried. Nothing about this place screams good quality or fresh ingredients. It was so hot in the restaurant that by the time our food had arrived, our lattes were already watered down. Will not be returning. Honestly Denny’s breakfast is better quality than what we were served.

This is a very popular place. Order at the counter; given a number; and your order is brought to your table when ready. Don't forget to check out the daily specials when at the counter. We had lunch here with friends. One can walk up to the counter and order things TO GO, but if you want to sit down and eat, you need to find a clean sanitized table which are clearly marked. This restaurant is very COVID SAFE! You scan the QR code to find the menu. You select what you want to order, including drinks and you pay with your credit card from your phone. The staff will be alerted of your order and will bring everything to your table. Tax and Tip are included in your bill, so you don't have to sort that out. My nicoise salad was jammed packed in a bowl! I loved it, however, it was difficult to eat. My husband ordered a grilled chicken and basil sandwich with fries which was good. My other friends ordered a half of sandwich with French Onion Soup. Their sandwiches were on French bread, served warm! They loved their sandwiches. I will definitely return here again. The staff were all friendly with smiles!

Excellent food. Weird order process. The menu does not include pastries so must be ordered separately. I ordered and the lady tells me I need a table number. I panic because there is a huge line behind me. I grab a table big enough to feed the Turkish army. I get my pastry and coffee but my eggs later. I don't get silverware. : The coffee is very good. :
