A Mindful Place, started in 2010 as Singing Bowl Workshops, is a community based program dedicated to mind, body and spirit.
A Mindful Place is a community-based program dedicated to promoting the benefits of complementary/integrative health practices that enrich mind, body and spirit. Programming is designed to offer local and surrounding areas opportunities to explore and practice research proven techniques that support overall health and wellness. As a community based program A Mindful Place utilizes area practitioners, trained and certified (licensed as required), to share their skills in a centralized location and offers them space to practice, when needed. A Mindful Place has weekly scheduled activities as well as "Special Events", all related to complementary/integrative healthcare that supports the mission of promoting health and wellness.
It is the mission of A Mindful Place to offer services and programs that support exploration of techniques which complement the healing of mind, body and spirit and encourage participants to incorporate learned self-care skills into their daily routine.
Additionally, A Mindful Place will strive to create community partnerships that support the goal of overall health and well-being.
On or off site complementary health practitioners; on or off site retreats; classes; presentations; dine & learn programs; lending library; movies; and, weekly meditation group. Also, available for speaking engagements.
Practitioners currently available to offer yoga; laughter yoga; massage; mindfulness meditation; reiki; nutritional guidance; and, tai chi/qi gong.
