A1A Motel

I grew up near Flagler Beach and wanted to visit for my birthday weekend. My two criteria for a hotel were: dog-friendly and on the beach. The 2-star rating for this hotel made me and my husband a little nervous, but our options for a last-minute booking were limited. We were SO IMPRESSED by this place. We loved the homey feeling of a small establishment and the fact that you exit your room onto a large covered patio facing the ocean, just a few feet away. The room was spacious, the bed was comfy my hubs wanted to steal the pillows!, they provided all the typical amenities mini fridge, microwave, toiletries, towels, coffee maker, coffee, etc, and someone was always on-site and willing to assist with any needs. I couldn’t say enough good things about this ‘unsuspecting gem!’ It will be our top choice from now on when we travel back that way.

Incredibly clean and very nice, hospitable owners. They checked in with us daily to make sure we had everything we needed. The quaint, charming motel has an unobstructed view of the ocean and easy access to the beach. Also, it’s just a short walk to great restaurants, shops & the pier. We loved everything & can’t wait to return!

This was our 2nd stay here. I can’t recommend this little motel enough. Sparkling clean rooms, amazing hosts/owner who is very accommodating no matter the request, awesome big porch with seating and fans, deck on the beach for guests. Lots of restaurants are within walking distance as well. It’s one of our favorite getaways.Rooms: 5/5

My husband and I pulled our bike over for a last minute stop and found this gem. The room was clean, the bed was super comfortable and the water pressure is great. We would definitely stop here again.Rooms: 5/5

What a great find. This place is clean, cozy and quaint. The rooms and property are spotless. Beds are cozy. The a/c units in the room work very well. Right across from the beach with there own private viewing deck. There are beach access stairs just to the North of the viewing deck. A great courtyard area to sit back and relax in the shade. Viktoria was very nice and helpful. We also met the housekeeper who was super sweet. Sadly we were only there for one night. We can’t wait to return for a longer stay.

Being a licensed real estate broker, in the real estate and property management business for years and owning a professional cleaning company-I have very high standards. My family used to live in Flagler Beach, always said we would recommend A1A Ocean Club to family that came into town. We sold our home and left Flagler Beach this past Fall so family never had an opportunity to stay here. My husband, our fur baby and I came to town for the weekend to visit friends. We were pleasantly surprised of the cleanliness, updated furniture and decor and the comfortable and welcoming feeling that we felt upon arrival. From booking our reservation over the phone with Viktoriia and meeting Shontay housekeeping there was complete professionalism and a pleasant customer service experience. We already shared our positive experience with locals for when they have the need for family/friends, we will continue to pass on this information and we look forward to staying during our next trip back to town.

We had seen this place on our last visit, and thought it looked kitschy and cute. We decided to give it a try, and couldn't be more pleased. The room was super clean, and the bed was comfortable. It was a little too cold this trip to take advantage of the great outdoor seating area, but we'll be back when it's warmer. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Overall, it exceeded our expectations, and we will definitely stay again.

Spectacular in every way!! Oleg, VIctoria, and Shantae are wonderful hosts! The hotel is very clean! Great view of the ocean from the Pavillion. Tables, chairs, and bench swing! Very charming, very worth it! My wife and I will definitely go again!Rooms: 5/5
