Please go elsewhere!!!! I'd give 0 stars if i could. Place is filthy. Humid and sticky when you walk in the room, awful smell. Roaches literally EVERYWHERE. We opened the fridge and roaches went crawling out everywhere. Genuinely really bad. Location is great, beach is beautiful but the hotel or lack there of.. is awful. Any good reviews you see were written by the roaches.
Saw bugs when we got to the motel. Ask for more washcloths because we had only one and another pillow. Never received either. We just stopped to lay our heads down and moving on the next morning. The guy in the office was very nice but if passing through again I will choose a different motel. Thank you for being so nice though.Rooms: 1/5
Please stay else where. The rooms are nasty, dirty, out dated and they have roaches. Not fit for a dog. The managers are in denial and very rude. They are there to collect money only. This place needs to be shut down. No light bulbs in the light fixtures or toilet tissue in the bathroom. Do not stay at this place. Just in a good location to the beach but not to book a room there. Disaster!!! Two weeks ago people...stay away!!!!
The reviews seem to be from somewhere else. My room was a double queen. The floors were updated, and the rugs were a nice touch. There were no bugs. The light switch that didn't work was from a light that wasn't there anymore. I'm sure they will change the switch to a plate soon. Rooms: Clean bug free firm mattresses Nearby activities: Lots to do, but the ocean is key. And the pool Walkability: The beach is across the street . Restaurants and music are up and down the street. Food & drinks: Food is every where. Noteworthy details: The coffee was hot and the juice was cold. Cool place to stay
Most disgusting run down place I have stayed in! Checked into the first room, room was a little worn but I figured it was because we brought dogs. Noticed the bathroom floor was wet, figured maybe they had mopped right before we got there. Nope! Go to use the restroom and am literally having water shower onto my head from the room above us. Was moved to another room. Went to have dinner and came back. Flipped the lights in and roaches scattered. Went back up front.Owner apologized and claimed he was refunding me. 2 weeks later and no refund has been issued. In short. RUN Rooms: Stomach turning and disgusting.
People are ridiculous. It's an Oceanfront room and I think I paid $68. What do you expect?! JW Marriott or Ritz Carlton? For the price, I will come back. I didn't see 1 roach, as everyone claims, and my room was clean . Sure there were some misgivings, but all in all, for the price paid, it was just fine. And the VIEW, oh my the view. I'll stay again. Expectation, people. Expectations.
It's a pretty great hotel, no it's not a 5 star but I'll be damned if it aint a 3.5. The lady at the desk was super awesome. There's free juice in the office which was a god send since we were too broke to get a lot of drinks. The balcony floor was kinda sketchy and it didn't have a light but it didn't really matter bc there's a light at the pool so you could still see up there and you can see the ocean, its literally across the street. It's not the best hotel but it is a really good one. For rich/mid class people, you'd not like it here. For lower mid class/ broke folk like me with an understanding that nothing is perfect, this place is pretty freaking great. And don't get me started on the antiques, LOVED IT. Safety: We legit left our doors unlocked most of the time except sleep. The rooms above the office/restaurant were a safe space.
This place desperately needs help. The bedrooms were clean, but that's all I can say as a positive. The bed was uncomfortable, pillows were thin and not enough three for a king sized bed, shower needs to be replaced, bathroom needs an overhaul, and the door looked like it had been kicked in multiple times.Rooms: 2/5
We only stayed here for the view of the ocean. It is across the street with absolutely nothing blocking the view of the sunrise. For the motel it self, it's dirty. The ice machine is outside on the next door building. We stayed in the main building and coming downstairs you have to walk through a crowded dining area because there is a restaurant attached to it. We won't stay here again but if you are interested in a amazing view of the sunrise then this is your place.
The location is great, obviously. Be aware that walk over to the beach is a short walk down the beach side. Fine is your not 80 and has issues walking. The pool needed a bit of attention. The room was not in the main guest house, so they definitely not decorated like them Could be the reason for the low rate. Kichen provided stove top fridge toaster, etc . You need to bring your own cooking supplies, one pan, and no utensils. Coffee pot made for 3 cups. Bathroon door closes with two strong arms. Beds are suitable.
