This office recently transitioned to be a pediatrician only. My wife and I found out via email, we each got a "second notice" but never any first notice. Els is amazing, will miss going to her for care. As for this office, I won't be taking my child here, the whole place is kind of beat up and run down. Front office isn't great, there's no online scheduling or message portal, etc. When I asked the front desk why, they said that the practice was still owned by Dr. Sirsy Sr. who doesn't believe in upgrading anything. Kind of sad story really.
Dr. Karim Sirsy is a very knowledgeable and understanding doctor. In my very first appointment he described all my symptoms even the emotions/feelings that came with them as I was thinking them and was planning on telling him. 5 star. Highly recommend. *Economical office visit price of $80 without insurance and it’s worth every penny
We moved back to Nevada a year ago and chose to use this practice for our whole family. Initially everything was great. The front office staff is friendly and helpful, the NP for the office, Els, is absolutely phenomenal and has always been great with me and my kids. I have only actually seen the doctor once in the last year so I don't have too much of an opinion about him. I have number of medical issues and had seen Els to address one of them and was prescribed medication to try and help with the symptoms and was told to come back when that had run out or if symptoms became worse. I called to make an appointment less than two weeks later and was told that they no longer treat adult patients. I was under the impression that well run offices informed their patients when they were not going to be able to see them any longer so that people like me could have time to find other physicians to treat chronic illnesses. I guess that's not a thing for them though.
My kids have been going to Dr. Sirsy for 12 years. Great Doctor, always very thorough. And so when Dr Karim Sirsy started up my house was complete . Now my husband and I go there as well and Dr Karim is just as good as his dad. Both amazing Doctors. Great staff always willing to help and fit us in when we need to be seen.
I love this doctors office! I have been a patient of Dr. Sirsy and his associates for over five years and have never seen a doctors office possess such personable and patient orientated staff. Every time I come in, I'm treated like family. A huge shout out to Vanessa and the medical assistant, Sabrina, they've never failed to make me feel welcomed every time I come in. Not to mention, Dr. Sirsy and Dr. Kiram are AMAZING! They don't just spend five minutes with you, give you medication and leave rather, they will spend as much time with you as you need. I am so blessed to be a patient of these awesome physicians. Thank you!
The doctor that I have been going to for years switched groups & they no longer take my insurance. I was nervous changing doctors however when I was introduced to Dr Karim Sirsy, I immediately felt relaxed. His office staff confirmed an immediate appointment as I needed refills on my BP meds. He took time to get to know me & my history. I never felt rushed. Looks like I have my new doctor! I could not be happier.
Dr. Sirsy committed fraud by billing insurance for a physical he never conducted. I almost died from anemia because he never notified me of my blood test results. They do not communicate additional charges for asking questions during well-child checks. His office refused to take payment from me and reported me to collections. His office also called the police when I asked for a copy of my medical records. Most horrible doctor and practice, unethical,, and violates their number one rule: Cause No Harm!! He has a problem with women.
Dr. Karim Sirsy and ABC Family Medicine are a breathe of fresh air! I've never been one to have myself checked out on a regular basis, mostly because either the doctors or their staffs made it such an ordeal, but I was lucky enough to be introduced to Karim about 6 months ago and decided to give his office a chance. It is immediately evident upon seeing Dr. Sirsy for the first time of his different attitude towards just throwing pills or unnecessary medical procedures that most of the rest of the medical profession just seems to be common procedure for whatever your issue is. Dr. Sirsy takes the time to find out what makes you unique, and then provides recommendations on treating the problems with direct primary care and lifestyle medicine. If you are looking for a truly special physician, make sure you reach out to ABC Family Medicine to get your appointment scheduled. Keep up the awesome work Karim!
Amazing still after 14 years! So happy that now I too can be seen fast and easy with the Sirsy's. The front desk is always helpful and always gets me and my son in same day. The front is efficient and we never wait very long at all. The bed side manor of both the Sirsy's are amazing they truly care about their patients and it shows!
I’ve been bringing my daughters here the last 4 years since my oldest was born, even moved across town and I will travel the 45 minutes to have them see Dr.Sirsy. My second daughter was born on Easter Sunday and he came in his Easter suit to the hospital to make sure she was healthy to take home. I love the way they treat us here and is one of the best in Las Vegas I wouldn’t switch unless I absolutely had to!! Thank you Dr.Sirsy and his lovely ladies in the office
