The Aberdeen Fire Rescue Department responds to approximately 1500+ requests for emergency assistance each year within the Town of Aberdeen and the fire protection district which surrounds the town. We are responsible for fire suppression, fire code enforcement, public fire education, and fire prevention. The Aberdeen Fire department also provides emergency medical service in conjunction with the Moore County emergency medical service.
The Aberdeen Fire Department is comprised of seventeen full time staff, and over fourty volunteer members. The officer structure is comprised of volunteer and career staff officers who manage the department. Our personnel are highly committed to life safety and property conservation through continuing education and advancement in technology as it applies to the fire service.
The Fire Department is located at 800 Holly St, which directly behind the Police Station on US#1.
