We chose this business because of the 5 stars and that is why I made sure to give an honest rating on the work they did at our house when we were not present. They charged us nearly $600, yet the job was sub par. To me, the job they did on my gutters could have been done by anyone. Especially considering they left debris all over my air conditioner, steps, etc. It makes me question if they did an efficient job on my roof repair. I called Academy Roofing to inspect the roof at one of my properties.  Nathan, Sales Manager and Joe, a Trainee had already arrived when I got there. He inspected the roof and took lots of pictures.  I was shocked when I saw the pictures.  It was clear that the previous roofing company had done a terrible job.  Nathan was very thorough and professional .  He told me that the entire roof had many layers of old shingles and wood that had to be removed and because it was so much work involved and because the building was old, the price he would have to quote me would cost me more money than it would be worth.  He said in order for him to do the job right, I could probably replace the building for the amount of money it would cost to replace the roof.  Nathan suggested other alternatives and I really appreciated his honesty and his expertise.  He could have taken advantage of me but he didn't.  He even said that he would send me the pictures that he took of the roof so I could have them for my records.  I will definitely call Academy Roofing when I need other roofing services and will recommend them to my family and friends. Thank you Nathan.
