Accent Prone

I have bought several pieces of furniture here in the past but i don’t shop here any more. Many people say that they are not acknowledged when they walk in and feel unwelcome. I also have felt this way the last few times I have been in and I don’t see any reason to spend money in a store that makes me feel this way. Edit: today I went back to Accent Prone even though I had decided not to return. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I was greeted at the door and spoken to several times. It didn’t feel like the same store. Hopefully they will keep up the good work!

Love that this shop works with small independent brands like mine! The collection the buyer curated is beautiful and we are excited to have Accent Prone as a verified retail partner!

Jan did it again! My husband had her pick out some great spring outfits for me. Everything she picked was exactly what I would wear! Knowing that I have kids she picked out things that are very cute but practical. Can’t wait to wear all my new things!

Don’t shop here as they don’t stand by the products they sell. Purchased two necklaces from here about a month ago for back to school I am a college student. I wore it last week for the first time and on the third day of wearing it the chain completely broke in half. Called their store and they said there was nothing they could do about it although I just bought the necklace which wasn’t cheap Purchased a lot from here prior to this but I won’t be back.

This was our very first time in this store. Just thought to check it out since we were leaving Target. My sister and I were greeted coming in but the lady at counter with the mustard blouse on 12/28/21 I believe to be the manager named Cheri. She seem very irritated that it made us feel a bit uncomfortable. We were followed the entire time and asked if we had any questions several times as the staff followed us around. My sister and I have careers/entrepreneurs and no need to steal or the thought of doing anything. We just did not feel a warm welcome. We were polite and possibly won't be returning. If staff/manager are bothered by black women and/or people of melanin to enter a store in the Kernersville or surrounding areas to come in and browse then its not a place for all people to spend their money. Management has yet to reach out to me.

I love this place! So clean, organized and help on every corner. Plus drinks while you shop!? Count me in. Everyone was great, but Janell absolutely has my heart. Such a helpful person and kind soul.

Came to Accent Prone today excited to purchase an item I had my eye on as I redecorate my bedroom. My daughter and my 4 year old granddaughter were with me. My granddaughter is very well behaved and did not bother any items in the store. We had one employee follow us around the store without offering to help or if we needed anything as other responses to reviews indicate is the reason. I felt unwelcome and as if we were being stalked as we moved back and forth across the store multiple times and the employee followed us straightening up things several feet away. We decided not to purchase several other items we had chosen out and just bought the one item I came in for. I will not be returning to a place with such obvious poor customer service. I guess my almost $300 purchase was not appreciated. Highly encourage others to take your business elsewhere.

Passing through town I saw this store and just had to go In and take a look . While the store is beautiful with unique decor, the customer service is lacking. Never was acknowledged while in there. At least a couple employees passed by without even making eye contact. Was not a welcoming environment at all . I was hesitant to buy anything, but ended up doing so. Probably won’t be back….

Love Accent Prone and everyone employed there. From the owners, to the designers, and even the loading guys, all are so helpful and will go out of their way to serve not sell you. I have shopped with them for several years and can’t imagine Kernersville, or my home, without them. Justin and Cheri are truly sweet, generous, LOVING and lovely people who have created a wonderfully positive culture within their company that extends far and wide beyond the walls of their store. I have to say I am completely baffled at the negative reviews, and while I cannot speak to the experiences of those reviewers, I can with 100% certainty say that in this life we tend to find that which we seek. Nothing and no one is perfect, and whatever your experience with Accent Prone, these are people committed to their customers and take your needs seriously. I am absolutely not an interiors inclined person, I find it quite stressful, and I’m here to give my most sincere thanks and appreciation for all the design advice and direction from Accent Prone over the years. Lifelong customer!
